Must be summer, busy here
has everyone heard about Richard's new product PreWow! it's to remove wax from your rubber seals. seams like another winner according to several people who made it down to MOTD. i was not that fortunate this year.
so this evening on the way home some ******* firefighter was washing
the pile of dirt that was infront of their fire station with a fire hose.
which means crap load of dirt water all over the 45mph road.
shict, i had to wash the car again when i got home.. i just
washed it this morning.
now clean again.

Long day today, work sure takes up a big chunk of time
. Big shop, nice guys working there, could be there a few weeks. Lois had to take the cabrio in for warranty work, A/C is toast, drivers window motor is dying, rear suspension is squeaking again
But she did get an 08 loaner, a paddle shifting S, so I just gave it a work out going to Lowes

Oh, I had Waylen install an engine damper while I was at the Dragon, makes Poco feel very zippy, no lag when you get on the right peddle

For anyone who cares... my blog has a writeup on the detail-killing rallycross drive that un-did days of car-show prep work in a half hour.

That's the only thing I could think about Paul as I watched your video - Blimey's gonna get filthy and stay away from that brush along the side. Oh and a river crossing - Geewiz man, ever heard of a Jeep for gawd sakes!

dang, sounds like fun.
make sure you drink A LOT of water while
you're working on them.

Yeah, he does neet to come out with it. And I will try and remember the water. As the night goes on I used to sneak in a beer. Last time I did these cars though, I put the wax on the SL then fell asleep on the shop floor while it dried. I then work up an hour later, took it off, and went home!
im searching for a easy to carry plastic container with a handle that i
can place my fresh towels, Hydro, tire dressing, etc for car washing.
so thought maybe my old yellow griot's bucket can do that and use
the new bucket for the shampoo.

but not sure yet.
Sorry ken... at a customer site all this week... so no NAM during the day... after complete MINI immersion all weekend at MOTD, I'm in serious withdrawal....
Regarding bucket... I have a couple of cheap totes I got at Target that work GREAT for that purpose... nice soft easy-grip handles... and fit in my detailing cabinet...
Sorry, no pics... but they're in the household cleaning dept...
