303 Windshield Wiper Treatment Packs from DP

A few months ago I bought some of the 303 Whindshield wiper treatment packs from DP. I thought they might work, but mainly looked at them as 'snake oil' and put them in my cabnet, didn't want to mess up new wiper blades. Well these blades are a year or so old now and not doing a very good job and I didn't want to buy new ones as it was now raining all the time. I got the packs out, but them on the wipers of a Suburban and a Q45. The wiper on the back of the Burb was about 2 years onld and the Q was about a year and a half.

Well let me tell you, the 'snake oil' packs really work, I could not believe how well the wipers wiped now instead of just smearing. I see that DP no longer sells this 'snake oil'. Live and learn.

nice info, too bad they dont carry it anymore.

next time, try RainX. cheap bottle will last you years. im still on the
same bottle that i bought like 8-9 yrs ago. i dont use it that often...
maybe once every other month to clean stains and oils. the beading
action is great for the first rain, but i use rainx more for its cleaning
capabilities.

Anyone know of a similar type of wipe which can be stored in the car and used to clean off the rear window?

I'm pretty sure the 303 wiper wipes are just pieces of foam with lots of 303 on them. You can get the same effect by wiping your wipers with 303 from the regular bottle. Or you can look around at other vendors for the wipes. I got mine from Autopia a while back.

As for window wipes, check your grocery store. Windex makes wipes for glass and other surfaces that come in little packets you could keep in the boot.

I think you can get 303 products from their website, and they also have a handy search feature that shows you which products are carried at which (vaguely) nearby brick and/or mortar stores.

I got a bunch of the wipes for free for some reason or another and they do work great. But as bee says, they are just foam applicator squares with 303 Aerospace Protectant. So now that my squares are gone I use a microfiber and some regular 303 Aerospace Protectant and get the same results.

Heather said that it was a more concentrated form of 303 protectant... not the "plain" stuff... though I guess if you apply enough coats of 303 protectant it would have the same effect...

Hey all. Nick here. Heather is out for a few days. We do still carry the wiper treatment, but ran out. 303 orders for us need to be pretty big, so we pulled the wiper treatments from the site until we meet our 303 minimums. I expect to have 303 restocked as March hits.

It is true that the 303 Wiper Treatment packs are mostly just the 303 Aerospace Protectant. However, as Blimey said the wiper packs do have a higher concentration of the Aerospace Protecant, as well as a small amount of additional lubricant.

So as Nick mentioned already, we will stock the Wiper Treatments again very soon and will carry them throughout Spring and Summer and on. In the meantime, definitely feel free to spray some Aerospace Protecant on a cloth and use it instead!

Thanks rc'S for the Wiper Treatment review! They really are pretty great little packets.

-Heather
