Thanks to ALL the MINI MAINIACS that braved the weather and came out for this tour... I learned that the MINI crew likes to do lunch at the halfway point then continue on after lunch... I will make that a plan on the next run...

I think we will plan this run again as a Fall Foliage Tour with lunch at the South Mountain Inn then continue onward from there... There are so many roads I could not do because of time limitations... I can delete some roads and add new roads just to tweak the route and change it up a bit... What do you think?

I'm open to suggestions...

I vote not to change the format. Lunch at the end is a good idea. The weather was the reason why it seemed that lunch was late. I would rather be safe than rush to get lunch. I am in for the fall foliage tour. Thanks again.

GREAT pix! Thanks so much for posting them! I'm happy to see a good shot of Penny in the group. I'll send the like to my mom (who had a great time, btw). I'm sure she'll like seeing the MINIs again, too.

I had a great time leading everyone all over the place... I can't believe my wife took 611 pictures... Of course I couldn't figure out some of the pictures but she explained they were taken during accellerated moments in time

I think the picture below is my favorite... The Italian Job

Tomorrow's the big day for the Porsche Club... Too bad we didn't get the kind of weather we are supposed to have tomorrow...

This will be a HUGE tour... 65-75 Porsches... Gina and I will have our hands full with this bunch...

Well just an update as to how the Porsche tour went...

73 Porsches
5 Lotus'
2 BMWs
1 Pantera
1 Mini Cooper (Gee, I wonder who it belongs too)

The MINIs did the route faster, IN THE RAIN... Everyone had a good time... We need to do it again with just the MINIs... Maybe as a Fall Foliage Tour...
