OOH I may just be able to wake up for that! So I will join Jay in meeting you for lunch! I admit it, I am addicted to DCMM and can't live without seeing you all for this long.

Is there more run after the lunch or is it an opportunity for us to peel off - and I apologize if this has been covered before...

I'm going to try to make it! One of my friends is throwing a "Tom Jones 40oz" birthday party tonight for one of my friends (everybody has to dress up like Tom Jones and can only drink 40oz beers... or 40oz box wines ), so we'll have to see what I'm like in the morning.

It was GREAT! A big Thanks to Bull30 for another excellent route!
Several new faces made their introductory appearences... Welcome!

It was your loss if a little rain scared you away.....

Thanks again, Ken

The run sounds fun so we'll try to be somewhat responsible....

As expected, the Straitjackets were hot and the beer cold thus our arrival back home at 2:00am decided Wensleydale's plans for the day . Looking forward to the next run ! We are planning to head down to VA next week.

Cheers,

Mike

a very long run and kinda late lunch, but the route itself was great...fab roads and vistas. It was interesting seeing the entrance to Camp David. I've always wondered where it was..
Thanks Ken and Gina!

That's one way of putting it.

See everyone in VA Beach. I may be a copilot on that trip as well.

OK - here are 136 pictures out of about 611 I took. Had to delete about 1/3 due to wiper blades and rain drops taking over the photo op .

Not to mention all of the sky shots I took due to acceleration moments.

http://community.webshots.com/album/...host=community

Anyway - have scaled the pictures down to those I thought were the best.

Thank you all for hanging in there - it was a blast!

Now now... Play nice kiddies...

Gotta thank my wife for posting all those pics... Some excellent shots...

Thanks to ALL the MINI MAINIACS that braved the weather and came out for this tour... I learned that the MINI crew likes to do lunch at the halfway point then continue on after lunch... I will make that a plan on the next run...

I think we will plan this run again as a Fall Foliage Tour with lunch at the South Mountain Inn then continue onward from there... There are so many roads I could not do because of time limitations... I can delete some roads and add new roads just to tweak the route and change it up a bit... What do you think?

I'm open to suggestions...
