I did a final run of the route for Sunday... All I can say is WOW!!! I hope all participating have as much fun as I have running the route... I've run it a total of 8 times to make sure there are no hitches... I had dinner tonight at the PB Dye Golf Club and they are ready for us Sunday...

I'm really looking forward to leading all my fellow MINI crazies thru the curves, up & down the mountains and thru the bridges & tunnels... We should have a blast...

See you at Starbucks in Germantown between 8-9 Sunday morning...

Actually, the forcast is for rain on Sun. Of course, this could change.
Is the run rain or shine?

I have gotten emails/pms to add 4 more people..

I unfortunately don't think that i will be able to make this now. One hospital changed my schedule without telling me!impatientmad: and I have not heard back from the manager about my complaints, and not coming to work .... I seem to be double booked on Monday...have to work in DC and in Columbia at the same time! We shall see....

What I decided to probably do is go to the meet up in the morning and meet everyone for lunch @ PB Dye and not do the run.

Well, everything is ready to go... I can't wait... Sunday is supposed to be a nice day with the typical chance of an afternoon thunder shower...

I have an unbelievable MINI story to tell when we get to PB Dye... I'm sure Gina will be rolling her eyes as it involves me taking her MINI out while she was in Florida... I don't think I'll ever live this one down... Anyway, I can't tell the story on an open forum...

See everyone Sunday morning at Starbucko's in Germantown...

I was going to volunteer but then I remembered I'm leading the pack

Just a reminder to everyone... Make sure you print out the directions to Starbucks in advance in case the site is down the morning of the event... It's been known to happen...

I'll lead the whole group... Last 2 tours I put together have been 45 and 32 cars... The more the merrier! More fun to be towards the back and get the whip effect... Oh damn, I guess that leaves me out...

REMEMBER - This is a RAIN or SHINE EVENT - MINIs can get wet ...

You never know with Maryland summer weather... We may hit a thunderstorm... We will have a blast either way...

Get lots of rest because this is a LONG run... 137.2 miles....
