Signature Logos

Any suggestions on how to make a signature logo? Software? graphics, etc? I'm not very adept at graphics software.

TIA

Start - accessories - paint. Simplest way.

If you want something more advanced you can try Gimp (free) or Photoshop (not free). And there are many alternatives in-between.

Basically any photo or graphic editing program that can be used to make a JPEG, PNG, or GIF. Even MS Powerpoint.

I'd like to add Inkscape to the list of apps for making your sig.

Just don't make it too big - otherwise the signature police will come after you.

Whoa, the mother of all links. That was awesome.

First, the rules, according to NAM site guidelines:

"A maximum of 300 characters OR an image with dimensions of 500 pixels wide by 100 pixels and filesize of 45KB or less is allowed."

Use your digital camera, and at the very least, take a picture of your car, and crop it to fit within the 500 x 100 pixel size. If you feel like getting more creative, you can start to create things in Paint, or other programs such as Photoshop. Drawing programs like Adobe Illustrator are really more professional tools, which cost money, and have relatively steep learning curves. Use whatever you have!

If you bribe some other users here on NAM, maybe they will make you a custom signature.

Hey bamatt - great links in this thread. Slightly OT, what does "MTTS" stand for (there were several "MTTS" badges, and I've seen it referenced around NAM)?

thanks.

MTTS is MINI Takes The States, its the cross country road trip 'MINI sponsored' (they hired a company to put it together under the MINIUSA name) to commemorate the launch of the GP.

I wish I could take credit for doing more than pointing out the great artwork of some fellow NAMers but I can't. We have some real arteests around here but I am always glad to help whenican

Hopefully with better planning and implementation.
