Just wanted to let everyone know that we will be leaving for Florida on 1/7 and returning on the 1/14. Depending on what the weather does, I may put the Summer wheels back on. Heck, I am going to look at the future cast and if it doesn't change drastically, I may change them a few days before we leave. What a Winter.

 

Wave toward the east as you go through Jacksonville on 95 and we'll wave back.

Or, alternatively, you could get off 95, head east on route 10 for about 17 miles 'til you get to the beach and we'll buy you lunch/dinner/whatever and put you up for the night.

 

I'm in Naples, but leaving tomorrow. Looks like we'll miss each other.

We are members of Sunshine and I posted in the MINIS of Orlando forum. We are staying with some friends in Gainesville.

 

FYI, the passed 2 days havn't been sunny here in Naples.

 

Gainesville will be a fun place to be that week, with the Gators in the BCS Championship game on 1/8. If you like burritos and guacamole, make sure you check out Burrito Brothers off University Avenue. Their food is famous!

My wife has been having a craving for Moe's

 

weather in KW has been hot, humid...and it poured last night. Today is cloudy and sticky. Dunno what the weather on the mainland will be like...

 

Actually, Moe's has made it up here!! I got one just up the road from me on Rt. 1 in Alexandria, and I know there's at least one in Columbia, MD!

Hey fellow DCMMers, since we will be going to FL @ the end of the week, I have looked @ the 10 day forcast for here and FL and I am going to change back to the Summer wheels. Once we get back, I will judge the weather and see about changing back to Winter.

On a side note, I saw a banner on www.theweatherchannel.com and it has a MINI covered in snow. Of course, the banners are random, so you may have to refresh it a few times.

 

We will see you all soon. I wonder if it will even snow this year? Must say, I am glad to have my nice and pretty shoes back on SoulFire!

I lived in Florida for most of my life & never heard of it?????
I have lived in Colorado for a long time but get back to Fl (Orlando) every 8-10 months.

 

It's a southwest/tex-mex burrito type place, not entirely different than places such as Chipotle, Qdoba, or Desert Moon Grill.
