LDG Rear Swaybar Special Offer

For our friends on NAM.

The response to our previous specials; Madness 15% pulley $235 installed, and Madness CAI w/cowl mod $250 installed has been fantastic!! We'd like to thank all of you who took advantage of these specials over the summer as well as all the people that continue to rely on us for the care and feeding of their Minis.
By popular demand we are now pleased to announce that we are adding a new offer that will greatly enhance your driving experience especially in time for all the up coming track events. Madness 22mm adjustable rear swaybar $300 installed.

All three of the offers will be in effect through the end of November so call us now to make an appointment for your install.

Doh, I already have a 22mm swaybar. But then again, what don't I have?

Nice deal for anyone looking for a swaybar upgrade.

Hmm, you could get a Pilot Wrench to tighten that loose nut behind the wheel!

I knew this would come out right after I get a bar.
But I still prefer a 19mm over the 22mm bar for the stock suspension.

Maybe he actually needs one of these...

But on topic, I have the 22mm Madness bar. It definitely makes things handle nicer. I've noticed a dramatic reduction in the push going around certain corners. It's currently set on the middle setting and with my car I can feel the rear wanting to break loose when really pushing it through corners. I actually did have that happen once too, but I was expecting it and it it did exactly as I wanted.

Does any one know what the horsepower gain is with the CAI & cowl mod? I did the 15% pulley with LDG and was well satisfied with the performance and HP increase.

Chappy,

The sway bar is usually $199 www.mini-madness.com Give George a call over at Madness and see what he can do.

LDG is a garage and not a vendor that sells products online at this time however the guys over at LDG are awesome so it wont hurt to give them a call. www.luckydoggarage.com

The Dyno Madness has on their web site shows a peak 9hp & 6ft-lb gain.
Now, take your grain of salt with that.

It's a good mod and if you are not inclined to make you own CAI or you are unable to install one yourself, then this one is pretty good. I like their filters because they have 8 layers of gauze. K&N has only 4. I decided to make my own because I'm cheap.

If you are really want to know all there is to know about CAI, then do a search. You'll have plenty to read and you'll find that CAI discussions can be rather emotional.

John a.k.a Lucky Dog... Price diff for cabrio? Do you recommend this same bar for the cabrio? My suspension is otherwise stock, have Kosei K1's and Goodyear F1's in 215/45-17.

Your best bet would be to call them and ask about that (410-489-0230). Chances are he would still recommend the same thing.

Getting adventerous now? Even after the experiences you've had with snap oversteer?

It improves the handling. The larger swaybar will bring the MINI to a zen state or should I say neutral state of handling.

Not sure with the Cooper, but the S has plenty of understeer straight from the factory and this will help reduce that. Toss it around a corner or two and you will be able to tell the difference real quick with the beefed up swaybar.

Jeremy, I have my old S sway bar that will improve your handling. If you ask Ssallykat, she has some new bushings she may give/sell you. I was going to give it to her, but she decided to get a new MINI instead. I will give you my S sway bar if you ask nicely.

Well, keep in mind that if his MC has the "Sport Suspension Plus" option, he already has the same sway bar that the MCS comes with (unless I'm sorely mistaken... but I'm pretty sure!).

Jeremy, do you know if your MINI has the "Sport Suspension Plus" or just the regular "Sport Suspension"? There IS a distinct difference with and without the "Plus".

Got my swaybar installed today over at LDG and let me say it again these guys are wicked awesome!

The swaybar is a must install for the performance minded MINI enthusiast! I had plenty of fun on the twisties after the install and I could not get enough of the zen feeling this bar has brought to my MINI!

Thanks LDG!

The LDG Pulley Special is still going so just give them a call and they will take care of you! I believe its $250 for the pulley and install. The deal gets sweeter if you go with the CAI.
