October 7 - a leaf peeping driving event in the Western MD area. Details to follow in a few weeks.

October 15 - I hope to annouce a very special event with MINI of Sterling in the next week or so. Would involve left turns only.......

too close to my ten year anniversary. Maybe I can find a traffic circle close to my home and do 10-20 laps.

Ill ask for those days off...looks like I may have Mia2 by then.. if the dealer installed options go smoothly....not sure if I will be ready to drive her on a run though!

Update!

MINI of Sterling confirms that this event will happen. I should have details in the next couple of days and I will make a separate thread. The event is a track day/driving school -- very similar to the events MINI of Towson has sponsored for the past two years. Those of you who have been know what a great time the event has been and you really do learn a lot about your MINI and your driving. Plus -- you get to go really fast!

9.2.06 - post edited. I am not sure of the exact track and location, so I took that part out. But it is a track day event.

 

I am SO IN this time that it's not even funny. Come hell or highwater, I will NOT miss this event if it kills me!
