Off Topic - Two IT Jobs in DC

My hotel is looking for a Director of Information Technology and an Assistant Director. Our current director is transferring out of town due to his wife's work in September to a location where we don't have a hotel. The #2 position has been open for a little while.

If you know anyone who might be interested - they can call Ana at 202-944-2071 or come by the hotel (1111 29th Street NW) Tuesday -Thursday to drop off a resume and fill out a job application.

I am not a technical sort, so I can't give much of a job description. We are a five diamond/five star only (the only one) in DC. 212 guest rooms. Job includes handling the phone switch, all our systems and servers, internet etc. Includes some guest interaction with special requests on the meeting room floor/rental for guest rooms etc.

Jen,
Any idea if the assist job can be a part-time position @ night or weekends? Also any chance of an email address to send the resume?

Thanks!

Is there any posting or reference to available salary range?

I do not know if they would consider PT/night or weekends. Weekends, however, are pretty much a given in the hotel business. The IT folks are "on call" during them and do get called in from time to time. Depending on the time of year (IMF meetings, Inaguations, big delegations in house) the IT folks do have to work some weekends.

Right now, one of the people in the position is working from home one day per week.

E mail address for resumes:
Ana.Gonzalez@fourseasons.com or carol.naples@fourseasons.com.

Carol is our Assistant Director of HR.
Ana is the Employement Manager

Not that I know of. Salary would be based on the experience of the person applying. I can tell you that hospitality is not going to pay as well as the private sector -- but there are some perks with the job that you don't get in the private sector. Like being able to travel and stay at Four Seasons Hotels at no cost all over the world!
