anybody interested in a friday gathering for a couple drinks in annapolis.....I am thinking the irish pub marina frequents, but I am open to suggestions.

I could be talked into thrusday, but I think I will need a few relaxing moments on friday.

Topic for the gathering would be, should Grumbler step up into the "S", or should he become a multiple mini owner. Conditions include new job, long commute. Beyond that, we can discuss this nutty weather we have been having and why my Cooper seems to be getting 32mpg lately..........any topics beyond that are more than welcome, except for politics and fluffy bunnies.

Friday I can be there , actually I am in Annapolis Thursday night but need to do a walk-thru st 8- 9 pm... Friday, after taking my Little One at Tate (where else?) I am free.. finally the first free weekend w/o work or DCMM mtg.

I am open for Margaritas, Irish, or the new place in Annapolis: "Lemon Grass" (have you tried it , yet ?) or the Martini place "Metropolitan." (ex TATE Motoring Advisor is Chief of Security there!!)

i got some feedback on lemon grass.........bad service and tasteless food, the thai place across from the toyota/scion dealer on west street is supposedly better for thai food.

so, marina, what is the name of the place across the street? mcgarveys?

 

where is MCGarvey's does serve wine? educated drinks? I am free after 5 pm Ring me for a place to meet.

McGarvey's is Downtown, in the middle of everything. Comming from the Academy, got towards the Harbour and turn right, before the seafood area.

 

I start my Friday afternoon with a cigar at the SmokeShop on Maryland Avenue, which is across the street from the Galway Bay Irish Pub. The SmokeShop and the Pub are great places for smoking, drinking and talking. Feel free to join me.

I really like that Pub. I just wish it was not so far away from home
The drive home was a bummer... I got stuck @ Kenilworth Avenue and
the beltway for over an hour. Two med vacs & about 5 ambulances.
and um I had to Pee really bad :impatient Painful....
And then the car in the next lane over to me decided that blowing the
horn in various ways for about 20 minutes was going to somehow speed up the process
There are two OK Irish pubs near me but not as good. I had a great time
Friday night. Hope to meet up again soon

Bah. I wanted to show up to this, but the weekend had other plans for me.
