I have two - one functioning (IBM T-23 Thinkpad P3 1ghz with a broken bezel) but it works - I could throw it off a cliff and it would still work. The other is a non-booting HP/Compaq NX5000 - fairly new but one of my clients spilled a whole glass of white wine in it and it's gone from bad to worse. Wagnbat and myself had made multiple attempts to fix it but <<insert Price is Right Loser Sound>> it won't function. So if anyone wants both for $375 they're yours.

NAH it was their laptop - and it wasn't working so they gave it to me to try and resurrect.

If you're going to part out the dead one...what size hard drive is in it? And how much memory?

 

DOes the IBM have a USB port?
