TATE MINI Breakfast Sept 17th (Cancelled! See post #12)

I'm going, who else is? . Hopefully the weather will be nice and we all can have a good time. I went by there the other day and the lot of MINIs and BMW is nearly empty. So there should be plenty of parking.

Hope to see many folks turn out for this monthly outing

We were talking with Marina over the weekend and she mentioned something about the breakfast not happening this month. Instead there will be a cookout the following Saturday (the 24th). I might be wrong, though.

With all the seemingly unanimous ill will towards Tate MINI, I'm surprised you don't try one of the other dealers. Is there a specific benefit to having these at Tate vs. Sterling vs. Towson? Of course, some people who are close to Tate would be extremely inconvenienced...

Just curious - I don't want to start another "I hate Tate" thread

Towson and Sterling were offered multiple times similar monthly breakfasts, both declined to take us up on the offer.

Regardless of people's opinion of Tate, these breakfasts are good for the club. They insure that monthly we get exposure at the dealership, which helps us get the word out about the club.

Same, I heard that because of the BBQ, there will be no breakfast. I'd be interested in attending both though.

Even though I am coming to despise Tate, it is still a good location, and the Sales guys are friendly enough. Just don't wander over to the BMW side. :impatient

free ipod?

ah, i have heard something like those rumours......something like, be the first people to show up at Tate with banana bread or cinanom loaf and get a free car wash and ipod.

(please note that the preceeding message was a complete fabrication caused by excessive consumption of caffiene and lack of sleep)

Sorry all! I was gone this weekend, and haven't had a chance to update. There will not be a breakfast this Saturday, as we're going to do a BBQ the following weekend at Tate! I'll post the event in a bit!

-Paul!
