Sent out about a dozen welcome goodie packets on Monday morning. This batch was the May new members. I think I got all of you out, so watch your mail. I am working on the second set for late May and June new members, but will need to do another t-shirt order before I can send them out.

Me too! I picked up Rosita Chucalita (AKA Rosi, Minikin, Munchkin Butt) on June 10th and have seen numerous MINIs on a few road trips...in VA, all waves, in PA, all waves, in MD...only TWO wavers!! What's up with that?? I live in MD and have seen the most MINIs on the roads here. I can't believe only two MD drivers have waved! Yesterday I saw a girl driving one that was the exact same color scheme as Rosi and I didn't even get a smile!

Anyway, I'm new here to the club too, looking forward to seeing some of you this Saturday at Towson!! Remember to WAVE!

It's been about a month since my check has cleared for the membership. Does it take that long? Not in any rush, just wondering. I keep forgetting my post-it's to put on MINI's when I see them so I'm a little excited to receive those calling cards

 

Please advise me via PM if you have not gotten your membership card. You card should take no longer than seven days to arrive from the time we get your check.

The full membership kit takes six to eight weeks.

I try when I send out the cards to indicate this in the enclosed letter. It does take that long

Hi everyone, not too new to the area, but just started driving the MINI more frequently. If you ever find yourself in the Glen Burnie area, feel free to wave. IB/W with dark tint. I also motor around Annapolis, Baltimore, Bowie, Largo and soon Silver Spring and the surrounding areas!

I've been lurking around here for a while but thought I'd stop in and say hi. I've had my '03 MCS for a year now and am very happy with it. I live in Front Royal, VA and we have some great twisty roads out here. Seems like the MINI was made for them. :smile:

 

I've got to be the EASIEST to remember. My handle is on the back of my mini, and i'm short. Just keep the word SHORT on your head, and you'll spot me right away... with or without my mini
