i have finally gone and done it! I have just submitted membership.

It typically takes four weeks for us to send out membership, so you may just get it before or you may just miss it.

I just joined yesterday and I'm so excited to get out to the August events! We are going to try to be at the breakfast, and would love to do the Bay trip and tubing - just have to work out our schedules. I already signed up for MTTS, my husband, Dale, and I will be doing the Cville to DC leg.

I'm usually in the Columbia, MD area, but will be traveling to Alexandria sometimes on the weekends for work. I love that MINI owners are so friendly and wave...I just got my MINI at the end of June so I'm still in the honeymoon stage, which I hope never ends.

User name RHinaHBMCSC = Red Head in a Hyper Blue MINI Cooper S Convertible.

 

They are a LOT of MINI's in Alexandria, especially Oldtown. Alas most do not wave. There is one red convertible that waves all the time though!

I wave all the time, it's great! I do find though that on my way to work on I95S, most people don't wave either...too busy driving I guess.

 

I am just across Four Mile Run in South Arlington but I drive a lot in Alexandria. You're right, most don't wave. I've noticed a lot of people around here have them just because they consider MINIs trendy, but if you see an Astro Black MC with PA plates give me a wave!

As far as I know, there is a not an MD based club separate from DCMM. But I could be wrong!

 

I received it thank you very much. I had lost all my hopes... but now I can add it to my "MINI lanyard collection"

I added it to my signature anyway...figured it just ment you lived in MD. Thanks for the info though.

 

Just another silly MINI related thing..

I was able to procure a white lanyard with MINI wings all over, my favorite one, the MINI UNITED was part of the package of M.U. event in Misano (Oct.'05) the Dunlop one was also a M.U. related event and the MOTD red lanyard was part of MOTD Registration package.

Pretty silly but I think MINI owners are at times silly !!
