Hey all. Just want to put it out to the club and see if there are any of you willing and able to host (meaning have a place for us to gather) the holiday party we would like to have.

It does not have to be before Christmas, we can certainly get together in Jan as well. All you would have to offer is really a place for us to gather! It's pot luck, so no need to worry about having to cook for people. As well, parking would need to be available too.

If you can offer a place for us to gather, please contact me! I would gladly offer up our place, but we can't fit many people in here and we all had to sit on the floor when we had IrishCow's party and Wagnbat's party.

 

We could see what it would cost to rent out the clubhouse where I live in the Lakelands / Kentland in Gaithersburg, MD. But I really would not have time to be involved in the planning.

 

No need for renting. and that would be pretty pricey for 20-30 people. But thanks for the offer.

I'd be possible depending on the date, but I don't think VA is popular for events lately, which only makes sense, seems like the active people are more in MD this year...

 

DCMM's holiday parties are always fun and lively affairs! Makes me wish I was there... Only a little though.

 

I have a showroom/gallery space in downtown Baltimore directly next to Penn Station that could work. Location is pretty convenient, easy to find. There should be art up in January though I tend to doubt we will have much in the way of holiday decorations! We do opening events here so there is a kitchen (no stove) and a large table -- can accommodate 100-125 easily at a cocktail type event. I have a couple of weekends in January open and Saturdays work best.
