Hey Gang,
Looking to buy a second MINI and of course looking for the best deal. I was wondering if any of y'all have any MA's you deal with that are good to work with. We're down here in Hampton Roads, but don't mind running up to Sterling MINI or other points north for a good deal or a helpful MA.
Thanks

Thanks folks! I really appreciate that! Hopefully we'll be ordering a new MINI soon. It would be great to find something close to what we're looking for, but I'm pretty picky!
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

I would call or email each dealer (MoS,MoA,MoT)and see which one gives you the best response. I personally found once the car was ordered it was hard to get info out of my MA at MoS (dont want to mention names). Once I was able to get a hold of him he was responsive, but call backs and emails were mostly left unanswered unless I wanted to add an option. Each dealer has good points and bad, I would conact them all and use your best judgement from there. As far as "getting a deal" I would expect to pay at or very close to MSRP. Some areas are paying above msrp.
Good luck!!
Good luck!!

It's nice dealing with someone who can still remember you by name a year after you purchase your MINI from them.

Checkered flag in Va Beach. See Nathan . Above post about paying MSRP is correct. Received my MCS in three weeks and two days from the ordering date. For some reason I didn't receive a call back from Crown in Richmond concerning anything after my visit to them. I'm midway between the two dealerships (Williamsburg) but chose Va Beach for that reason.

Brad's the same way... they really make a person feel special and appreciated.Originally Posted by wolf617

Thanks for the additional info. As far as MSRP goes, I'm expecting that. Pretty much what we had to do for the 07 MCS. It's the add ons that are negotiable. I am not paying for their cutesy stuff. even dealer prep i susally negotiable.
I do plan on give all the dealers a shot at selling me a car. Especially since I have financing already in place. I hate not going to Checkered Flag, especially since Nathan is such a cool kid and attends our local events, but a MA can only do so much.
BTW, we own a body shop, hence the 'MAACOdale'. We spend about 5 grand a month with the Checkered Flag group and that didn't warrant much of a discount.

+1. The guy I had at MoS hardly ever returned my phone calls or emails until my MINI was already at the dealership. So, by the time he contacted me, all of my other questions had been answered because i knew exactly where my MINI was. I dealt with two MA's at MoS and they were both this same way. I saw that a few people mentioned Fred at MoS. I didn't deal with him at all. =)Originally Posted by Cally95
