Soulfire... no longer stock :)

Well, I have finally done what I have been wanting since I have had Soulfire....

EB/B

.... a Schroth harness

And some of you may have noticed, Cecilia's stock 17" wheels. I put Perelli P-Zero Nero 215/40/17 on them and they are ok tires for now. I really like the look of these wheels on SF and will probably not go aftermarket

I had pulled the roof and side vinyl some time ago with the help from Carlos (crpagan). Over the Holiday, I decided to go ahead and tackle the EB/B with help from Pawel (pyskacz). We went ahead and stripped those great bonnet stripes, which I will miss honestly , and pulled all the rest of the white vinyl that I had. We also painted the euro plate black. I didn't want the typical shiny black, I wanted a flat black, so we went ahead and gave it a try and I think we did a pretty good job. There are some areas that need some work, but all in all, I am pleased. In some of the pics it doesn't look flat, but it is.

Nope. I started to see all of these MINIs with the same roof graphic, so I decided it was time to change. ALL of the vinyl is in Sticky Heaven.

Hey Jay, I'm actually thinking about taking the vinyl driver side racing stripe off our car, too. Any tips to removing the vinyl?

I used a heat gun. it really helps remove the vinyl, especially vinyl that is old meaning it has weathered a few years. If it is pretty new, a nice hot day will be good enough. Once you start peeling if it is coming off in small pieces, heat it up and it will start coming off in large or even one piece. Just be careful with the heat gun, you could do damage to your paint.

Once the vinyl is off wash the area, or the whole MINI, and than claybar (use the spray that comes with it as well) that area. Claybar helps remove the sticky residue left over, and than wash that area again to remove the claybar stuff.
