Maryland Euro Plates?

Hi everyone. I was at the Starbucks in Mount Washington, Baltimore this morning where I saw quite a few MINIs in the lot. One in particular caught my eye, a BRG with a Maryland eurostyle license plate. The plate looked great with the MD flag on one side and the tag number spread out across the horizontal plate! Curious if this counts for an official front tag and if so, where I might get one of these -- the driver took off before I could ask!

Thanks!

I didn't know MD made them! We just have custom ones on our cars...but we also have Fl tags, so we don't have front plates...interesting idea though.

I seriously doubt it's an official plate. Someone probably had it made in order to try to look different and yet "escape" the attention of the authorities (although I don't think it will work).

I would love to have some legal ones, but sadly Maryland doesn't seem to do that. Oh well, my no-holes license plate works very nicely.

anyone got some alternatives? other than the no-hole bracket? maybe like magnets, 3Ms or something?
