Having done many F56 S and JCW tunes, we have had a few local Austin customers requesting our tune for their 3-Cylinder Cooper. With the newly installed Mustang (heart-breaker) Dyno in place, we did some testing and tuning this weekend.
This is a bone stock F54 Clubman Auto, running Shell 93 octane. No additional hardware was added except for the BT Tune.
Stock WHP: 118
Stock WTQE: 149
Tuned WHP: 151 (Gained 33 extra WHP)
Tuned WTWQ: 182 (Gained 33 extra FT-LB of torque to the wheels).
FYI: A stock 2015 MINI F56 S Auto puts down 169WHP & 193WTQE on our Mustang Dyno. So this cooper is pretty close in power to that of a Stock F56 Cooper-S Auto
The car is extremely smooth and the power delivery is spot on.

So this is the burger tune jb4? If not please explain more, I’m really interested.
Also, do you foresee any reliability issues with something like this? You all are the experts so I was hoping that you could give your input before I buy it and try it.
This is not a piggyback like the JB4. It is an ECU tune that is done through the OBD port. I have their tune on my F56 2.0 and love it. All you need is a laptop that'll run Windows.
Completed a remote flash with our dealer in South Africa on a car with built motor. Great consistent results and the customer is super happy. Car made 209BHP on a local dyno.
Bytetronik, interesting results. My 2004 R53 currently has a Stage 1 Dinan tune on it. That took the stock 163hp to 175hp (includes Sprint Booster). Since, I've added a 15% SC pulley, colder plugs and a one-ball exhaust. I estimate that I'm running around 192hp. I have 380cc Bosch (Volvo) 4-port injectors that I've yet to install. Post-installation, my intent is to download the ECU data for a remote tune. Can you give me an idea of what level horsepower I would realize using your remote tune, as well as the approximate cost? I'm in the DFW area so a trip to Hutto is not out of the question. Any advantage to a on-site tune versus a remote tune? Any difference in the cost? Thanks.

Custom tuning on the dyno is always the best solution for your 1st-Gen R53. And the price will be a bit higher due to the cost of the dyno and tuning time, but you won't need to install the Innovate AFR kit (which is required for Remote tuning). Send us an email if you have additional questions.
