ECU Tune for MC non-S?

Sorry if this noob question has been asked before but did a search and just can't find the answer.

Is there any vendor out there that offers an ECU tune for the non-S Coopers? Everywhere I look they're for S models only...

Thanks.

I don't think so. Even if it is available, it'll probably not be worth it. I would recommend concentrating on the handling and braking performance: it'll be more rewarding.

Thanks for the advice. Those two items are on my list. Just thought there was a slight performance gain to be had from tweaking the ECU.

I wouldn't waste any money on tuning a non turbo Mini. Save your money for wheels, suspension or window tint

this is actually something I've been interested in. I've gotta believe there can be some gains for a car that is designed to run 91 and I'm running 93. But, not enough people care and for the 10whp max that you'd pick up, prob not worth the $300+ a vendor would probably charge.

Would be nice too, to stretch the rev limiter a little.. Not really in the cards for me though, since I'm in HS.

There is also the Sprint Booster- not an ecu tune- but, a little pep in the throttle response.

Expect 5-7 hp maximum (they claim +10), mostly up near the redline,
with minimal improvement below 4-5K, and slightly improved throttle
response from an R50 tune. That's about what I got from a standard
Bluefin remap on mine. Not very cost-effective. A custom tune might
yield a couple more hp, maybe a little more if there are mods like cam,
head work, and header.

I found this and posted it in another thread. Not sure if anyone else has heard of it though. For me a 10hp gain on a car that only has just above 100hp seems logical but, not everyone agrees. Anyway here is the link I found.
