Aftermarket tail lights, R50?

Shortly after I got my car, some idiot cracked my passenger side rear tail light cover. It's fully functional but ugly up close. Are there any attractive aftermarket options for tail lights, or should I just get a replacement OEM unit?

Thanks!

I purchased a set of Altezza tail lights off of Ebay.
Very nice.
Different style.
Makes the rear end stand out a little more.
Go for it.

I noticed there is a set in the marketplace for an R53, do you know if it will fit the R50?

The 1st Gen. tail lights are interchangeable.
Yese they will fit the R50.

Tail lights are interchangeable between R50 and R53.

However, there are two different configurations: 2002-2004, and 2005+. Physically, they all fit the same but in the 2005 model refresh the backup light was moved from the bumper to the tail light. Get the style that matches your year, otherwise you will have to do some rewiring to make them work correctly.

Ahh, thanks for the info! The ones I was curious about have sold from the marketplace, but I'll check eBay.

I haven't actually, I have had a lot of trouble finding a set. Most of them seem to be for 02-04, or claim some weird year range like 03-07. There have been a few others that were way too cheap to consider (~$25/set.) so for the time being I'm still rollin' around with a cracked tail lamp.

If anyone can point me to a set that will work with my '06, reverse light and all, I'd be grateful!

When it comes to stuff like this, I only buy OEM. Unless you don't mind experiencing fading, filling with moisture, or looking cheap.
