How to Completely black out my mini

I am looking to get my car like this... If someone can make a list of parts and things needed to make almost a replica of this car It'd be greatly appreciated

You would start by buying a Cooper S. This is the Cooper non "S" forum.

You might actually get more advice on the Cooper S forum, as we don't talk about those "other Coopers" around here much. Well, not nicely anyway.

Do you have a Gen 1 or a Gen 2 Cooper? If you have a Gen 2 it's never going to look as awesome as that MINI you have in the picture.

I'd say mine is pretty blacked out though

Here are a few options for each component of your car;
1)Head Light Rims
-Joey Mod
-Vinyl Wrap
-Molded Black Replacement

2)Beltline
-Joey Mod
-Vinyl Wrap
-3M Tape

3)Side Markers
-Joey Mod
-First Generation Side Markers

4)Brake Lights
-Tint
-Molded black lining w/tint

5)Front Grille (Upper/Lower)
-Aero Kit Black Grille
-JCW Mesh Grille
-Vinyl Wrap
-Joey Mod

6)Door Handles
-Joey Mod
-Vinyl Wrap
-Molded Black Replacement

7)Gas Cap
-Joey Mod
-Vinyl Wrap
-Molded Black Replacement

Joey Mod will be the cheapest and quickest way to get it done, but you want to be sure that you are competent with the subtleties of removing parts, and the art of spray painting. You can find the first generation black side markers on Outmotoring.com, along with the 3M tape. AestheticCreations.com will have all the molded parts, but beware they take forever to get your order to you (1-3 months). There are numerous vinyl shops, but vinyl wrapping will be the most expensive by far.

Hope that helps.

The "Joey Mod" only refers to the lights- taking the lens off and painting all the silver/chrome (everything besides the halogen reflector) black. Everything else is just spray paint. Plastidip works best if you want something that's reversible in the future (not for a Joey mod though, use high heat paint).

If you want to truly black out everything, then Bavarias_Finest has listed several options, for "S" and "non-S". www.AestheticCreations.com does have all the molded parts that you would want and you can buy them in a bundle black out pack. But be warned they do take a while to ship molded parts due to only making them per order and not having them on a constant stock. Vinyl would be a nice way to go, check out www.lylesvinylstyles.com for a lot of vinyls if that might be a road you would like to go. Lyles does make a lot of appearances across the country I know that he's going to be in Ann Arbor, MI in September do installs, if that is any where close to you. As far as the Joey Mod, it's towards the head lights themselves, not the rings or anything else on the car. Take off your lens and paint the inside black(pretty much the concept to it). Your brake lights cant be smoked with a spray tint or there are a few lens covers that are made for them. This also can go for you side markers and reflectors as well. For the boot handle either you do a vinyl wrap on it, or paint it, there's no molded parts for it yet, that I know of. A lot of people use Plasti-dip instead of painting, in case you want to make it chrome once again it's the best and cheapest way to do so. Drewstermalloy know's more than I do about the Plasti-dip. Good luck.
