We are working to bring you a total ignition upgrade. The package will be bot for the MC, and the MCS. The Package will include High Voltage Coil Pack (Black), 8.5mm Crane Cams Spark Plug Wires (Black), and Accel Race spark Plugs.

Here are some Images,

There is also a possibility for an Upgrade package for MSD Coil, and Wires(Red).

The Packages start at 155 for the first set in black, or 180 for the MSD Products in Red.

Let me know your thoughs on these product packages.

Thanks
Dan

What would the benefits be of the upgrade?
More Power- any HP numbers?
Any dyno numbers to back up claims?

What would the negatives be?
Worsening of mpg numbers?
More interference noise with stereo systems, both stock and custom audio?
Return of core items - cost of deposit, shipping and insurance.

Any group buys in the works- would you consider it?
Let me know. And thanks for the post and the pictures.

I am going to dyno the system to get HP Numbers. THe advantage to this system will be seen the more you modify your car and put demands on the Ignition system.

There will be no core cost or shipping of anything back to me. The only thing that you will need is a spark plug Gap tool to set the spark plug gap before installing the spark plugs. As for stereo, as long as everything is grounded and shielded properly, there will be no added interference that wasn't already there. Regarding MPG. I was driving around with it, and was getting about 30 MPG on the highway, so that is still pretty good I wents about 200 miles on a half tank of gas.

I have to work with the manufacturer to make a small modification to the Coil Pack to make installation easier, but that is nothing that will effect performance.

Thanks
Dan

Sounds like 40mpg to me! I've never gone more than 280 with a full tank of gas! Usual is 220-250.

Yea.. It's some good milage. I'm happy with the kit so far. I have to figure out total pricing with the company but once that is done, I will be offering these off of my site.

Thanks

Hmmm you must have a heavy foot. I average 250 to 300 on 3/4's of a tank of gas that includes driving from Long Island to NJ and back during rush hour and some Non stop highway driving for an hour (avg speeed is 65 to 70 on highway).

Sorry about bashing you earlier on Pilo, but this looks like a decent mod. I might just have to give it a go...

So what are the advantages to the system? Lets say I have the pulley, intake, header, exhaust, throttlebody and ECU.
What can I expect? Better ignition? Smoother response? Why not just do Nology wires?
Do the Crane sparkplugs come in different colors? That would be good if it did- can you check around? Any other wires would work with this upgrade? Magnecor or Nology? At least they can color but add to the total cost.

Any downsides besides cost? And voids the ignition warranty.
