I did something today. :D

I used this big ol thing



And this little guy



To do this to my fenders.









Yay... cut about 2 inches of material total off the fender now. Might still have to take more off. haha. I rolled the lip up to give a little more clearance, and some strength to the fenders, then painted it to keep the rust out.








Oh yeah... and I did all of that so that I could add these.



















On the car. CRAPPY cell phone pics, so please don't stab me yet. I'll have better ones later this week. I'm working on my motorcycle license this week so I am a little pressed for time.

The car is definitely still on the road. Every day in fact. The old wheels are in the boxes right now. I'll probably sell them. They are still absolutely pristine!

I've got a lot more planned, but that all depends on other expenses and plans. For now, it's getting GAZ adjustables for the hi-lo's I have on it now, and new flares. I just can't decide what flares I want yet.

 

Yeah, the old tires do still look great. The body definitely needed to be trimmed to fit some bigger wheels and tires though. I remember getting a few rubs when the steering was at full tilt one way or the other.

Keep driving that sucker! Shes still a beaut!

Haha. They were shorts.. it's 95 and HUMID here. I wore leather leggings over my legs when I was cutting. no need for pants. haha.

It's much cooler here in Maine! I wore jeans and a fleece jacket most the day

 

great job! looks great....reminds me when I chopped mine in order to fit 13x8's.....I did fine later when I did the hi-lo's I had to cut more as I lowered it by half a inch to clear up any rubbing issues
