So odds are pretty good that both the mini and the granny are complete fiction? I know the mini probably was; was granny invented to make it more believable?

I'm thinking the truck was there a couple of years ago. It was near the 10th and Orange I think... but last time we went by there it looked like it was closed and I don't think the truck was there anymore. It's in the vicinity of the Sarasota Architectural Salvage place we go to from time to time. We thought about getting it (of course that was before we were ever here on NAM) and thought it would be cool to paint it a bright metallic red and put little wood rails on the sides to look like a little Vermont antiquing truck.

As for the "Truck Nutz"... one of the funniest things I'd ever seen (when those were really popular) was when I was driving through the Country Club neighborhood and all of the building of these fancy homes was going on. There was a big white van... and apparently they couldn't afford a real pair... so they MADE THEIR OWN! This person actually took the time to cut a giant pair out of PLYWOOD (assuming he used a jigsaw)...drilled a hole at the top... tied them onto the trailer hitch with ROPE and even took the time to artistically recreate the hair with a SHARPIE! You could actually see where one side hung just a little too low and it had a bit of a flat edge (from dragging on pavement ). I was in hysterics! So for anyone out there... with the economy the way it is... desperate times call for desperate measures!
