MtyMous - I love your classic, it is so British and has the cute bum that the Minis and MINIs do so well. Like the old VW Bug you just cannot help but smile when you drive behind one.

x uh oh x - ah Magnum, those eyes, that smile, that goofy laugh - a man not afraid to show his emotions. I still remember the episode "Did You See the Sunrise?" - enough said.

I have and still am enjoying this threat. Such great people here. Perhaps Apple will come clean and either come through with the Mini or at least fess up and turn over a new leaf and promise no more cons. It is very said if this was a con and this is how she entertains herself. Regardless of her motives, she caused strangers to become friends and the thousands of miles and several states melt away into one very large party.

MYEMINI and MYECOOP are freshly bathed and tucked away for the night and the outside of the house reflects no hint of Christmas past. I still however have the tree up and lit as hope lives on for Skillet. Everyone has a good side, sometimes it is just hidden very deeply away. Let's hope that with the spring thaw, Apple's goodness comes to life as well.

Yes and no... Yes i was supposed to go today, but woke to a snow storm, so i sent my MA a message asking what the weather was down her way, because I'm up North and we get worse weather up here. She called the "strip guy" and they decided to postpone until next saturday instead... don't you know i went out to shovel and then came in, and the time i would have left to go to the dealer it was clear out!! Figures.
About 3 hours later it started snowing again and worse this time, so i gues it was all worth not going out!

so hopefully next week..


Our tree and decorations are still up until tomorrow! I didn't feel right sending the hubby up the roof today during a storm!

 

Please let's not go here... i'm going to have nightmares!!!

 

I have so much respect for all of you living with snow. I barely survive when we hit the high 30's. Our thick fog is no fun but MINI takes it all in stride and handles it like a dream. I so love the automatic lights. She knows when to turn them on and when to turn them off, I don't even have to think about it. When I get to work and she turns them off, as I walk away but then turn around to double check, (out of habit) I cannot help but smile as I know she is thinking, "I've got it handled, now go to work!"

Hmm...We may not have snow problems, but next weekend is going to be a real BUGGER around here - inaugural weekend, and they're projecting craziness starting this wednesday for at least a week. I suspect longer. Hotels are booked as far south as Richmond (two hours away.) I would greatly prefer SNOW.

I hate snow but this is where my family, I have lived here all my life. But I did say just yesterday to a friend, "only 1 1/2 more months" then usually no snow and it will start to get nicer out! that means CONVERTIBLE TIME!!!

Boy the subject sure moves FAST!! Hadn't had a chance to get Pet Photos posted, we have two 4-legged critters. Here is a pic. of MY Baby Girl Sadie, she's an almost 7 Year Old Chocolate Lab Mix.And "Rosie" MY Husband's Australian Shepherd Mix, she just turned 3 in December.

They are never far from one another so to get pics. of them apart is unusual.

Each of our girls were rescue dogs. Sadie was adopted from a Rescue Shelter in The Dalles, OR, we drove an hour to go and fetch her. And Rosie came from the SW Washington Humane Society, both were puppies when we brought them home.

Sadie is our "Wild Child" and Rosie is "Licky Dog", but we LOVE them to pieces and they are SPOILED to no end!!

We keep talking about getting a second lab to keep her company but now sure if she is too spoiled to accept another in her home..
