Oh, he DIDN'T go there!! MSSD is Minis Slay the Sleeping Dragon - it's a small time club event, going to the Dragon in October. THe Tar Heel MINI Motoring club is going; it's very unstructured (unlike the big MINIs on the Dragon in May) and is just a bunch of nice people gathering to drive and check out the gorgeous scenery.

SO!!! Here are my friends (and 'Ola's friend!) new black reflective stripes. This is the whole album, but here are a few cool pics, too - she had a great idea to have a reflective graphic put on the mirrors; hard to do, but really great looking! I'm going to do that too, I just haven't decided what graphic.... YET!!

Yeah, that was me. Mike and I were goofing around like that a few minutes before she could whip out the camera. Oh, ya, and I bought that nifty cool camera from a NAMer for a VERY good price. I LOVE it! It's a Sony Cybershot DSC-H1.

Cab...How are you feeling this morning?? Did you finally get some horizontal sleep??

Take it easy again today and definitely go see the Dr. tomorrow like we talked about.

UhOh what's going on with you and the impending move?? Haven't heard you talk much about it.

So I was typing the first message (about an hour) and when I hit submit it showed I wasn't logged in. Does it time out or what??? WTF??? Anyway, then I just typed ANOTHER message explaining about the FIRST message and THAT one didn't go through either. So here's my third attempt. Sorry... I don't usually use the angry guy too often here.

Just know that I was sending warm fuzzies to everyone.

Yeah, Cab - what RJ said!

As for talk about moving...there's not a whole bunch to talk about yet. Unfortunately (?) moving is a pretty regular part of this job, so...most stuff is routine. We won't get into the moving details until probably September - that's when we get our official orders with more specific details (like, dates?) *sigh * I'm just not going to be happy moving. I love our house.

UhOh I would hate to leave a home I loved. It has to be hard, I moved way to much as a kid. Unfortunetly I moved my Daughter way to much when she was growing up. X could not stay in one place more than 6 mo., No Joke!!

I've finally uploaded some pics. of ours. I call this "Our Forever House", because we don't plan on moving, so any updating we've done is to our own liking. Minor upgrades for now, small $$ figures anyway. Major updating to come in about 5 years, I hope!!

County Record Photo taken approx. 4/07

This is our house Winter 2008

We added the Lean-to on the Left, it is used as our Wood Shed (4x8x6. approx.) We purchased the house in November 2003.

I can post more if anyone wants to see...

Thanks UhOh!! We installed a Heat Pump (Ahhh...A/C) in the Summer of '04, we resided the house in 2006, I think. Cedar Siding, Rough Side Out, the paint color is called Mocachinno (Behr), I like it because it changes color in different light. New Front Entry Door (Crafstman Style). Fence on the South Side just this year. Many more projects on the list, as $$ becomes available.

When I say we...we only paid to have the work done!!

A little description...Built in 1978 (31 Years Old), 1844 sq. feet. 10,624 sq. ft. Lot. 3bd, 2ba, Living Room, Family Room, Formal Dining Room (4th bd; less closet), Eat in Kitchen (needs the most work), Walk-in Master Closet. Master Bath has 6ft. Jetted Tub (we don't use), 1 1/2 person shower, counter height cabinet, single sink, also needs a lot of updating. Previous owner should have left this one alone, not updated properly.

My Favorite part of the house, I have my own room (Living Room) with this...

Hubby's room is the Family Room, it has a Fireplace also, but not as pretty as mine!!

Here is a pic. of our 2 Four-legged Kids...

Sadie is the Chocolate Lab Mix (6 years old), Rosey is an Australian Shepherd Mix (4 years old), 2 Kids no one else would want, but we L<3E them!! Both are rescue dogs, we got as puppies. Sadie when she was 7 weeks (?), from a Rescue Outfit in the Dalles, OR, 50 miles from here. Rosey at (? weeks) from SW Washington Humane Society.

Sadie is the Wild Child and Rosey is our Timid Girl, both are very sweet, but can be hand fulls too!!

Hi RJ!! I "think" I am a little better today. Not horizontal yet, but I have a really decent system set up with my husbands huge recliner and at least I slept like 4 hours in a row *woohoo** and then some short little naps throughout the day.
Now, don't shoot me or anything,,, but I think I am going to see if I am still a bit better tomorrow and then make my decision as to see a Dr. Seems like the meds are starting to kick in sooooo.... but then again as I type this I am thinking that I am probably making a big mistake,,, huh?? sigh

I called all clients for Monday and moved them out. Probably won't work for a few more days...... dammit!!!!! *who sadi that???*

Ola,, so sorry to hear about your wasted attempts to communicate with us.. you were rightfully justified in peppering your note with the frowning face,,, surprised you didn't find the waving finger one!!

Uhoh,, while i am interested in your upcoming move,,, I am MORE interested in hearing about that Philly trip?????

We had humongous storms tear through this morning, I swear it got as black as night as that storm approached, will be interested to hear how our Mini group fared with their meet today????

TNMM you're alive!!

Maine is always rainy in the summer. Usually don't get a good week until about the 2nd week of August... and by then the "summah is ovah"!

And I suppose that you ARE in the running for meeting the most Freebies. *sigh*

Have a safe trip back to your next landing point.

I think the correct response to this is... ayuh!
No seriously, I've been up in Maine every summer of my life- this is the wettest summer I've seen up there in decades. You are right, tho about August- I haven't been able to spend much time in August due to school schedules. Oh well-
Ok, back to try and sleep.
Missed y'all- sounds like everyone's been busy.

RJ your house looks great. We're working on our house right now...Cleaned up the front and it looks a lot better. We're putting in tile and hard wood floors in right now too... The only thing I don't like about the house is too many stairs and a driveway that's a hill...

Thanks for the nice comments everyone!! It is HOME!! Needs alot of work, but we'll get to it as we can.

MiniXb when you're done with the Tiling and Hardwood Floors you have to promise to come over and help with ours (in a few years), K??!!

We fired our Landscaper today...so now add to our long list of projects, yard work!!! Yeah!!!
