Free Classic Mini...
Thyodin, sounds like your MINI will be a great ride! Looking forward to a pic of it when it arrives.
Since it's apparently required, here's a pic of me taken last December.
I don't have any pics of me from high school--though I think they made cameras then...--but will try to find something taken back in the dark ages.

Okay,, if we are threatening toe pics,,,, I must confess I have ugly toes,, long skinny talons for toes. Let's put it this way, I could quite easily perch on a branch somewhere..
If I don't see pictures soon I am whipping out my toe pics.
there is a pic of an old pic of me in my camera, but i don't know how to get it out of my camera & onto my computer. it's probably easy, though.
ok, progress is being made. gotta love microSD cards & card readers that fit in laptop card slots. progress. i remember when a computer took up a whole room. and the room sure wasn't in your house!

Haha,
I'm getting a "Justa". I was mostly looking for something fun and fuel-efficient since I have a lot of road trips planned (family and friends on both coasts, as well as North and South). I've had a fast car before ('06 350z), and found out driving a fast car slow in town is even less fun than driving a slow car slow and once I'm on the highway I don't even notice the power, so I decided against the "S".
But, here goes:
Manual MC with British Racing Green/White roof and White hood stripes, Premium and Cold-Weather packages, Xenons with Front+Rear fog lights, factory armrest (I know I'm in the minority of people who like it), white turn signals, and that's really it. I was trying to keep the price low so I can invest more money in fixing up my house.
I'm a fairly recent convert to the new MINI fan club. I liked the look of them but always thought (before I looked into them) that they were expensive and not particularly fuel efficient. I started looking at new cars the middle of last year and was interested in a compact car I could fit comfortably in (I'm 6'3"), and the more I looked the more I kept coming back to the Mini. When I found out the new engine design gave the Justas maneagable performance and stellar gas mileage I decided to go ahead and see them in person. After I test drove one I was hooked! I set the end of February as my order date because I get my Bonus then, and it doesn't really get nice here till mid to late April, so this way It'll get here just in time for spring! Yay Spring!

Hey LilB!! I love your picture!! Thanks!! But we still need on "oldie" hahaha no pressure,,, nope, non at all. I think you have kind eyes......
OK, his "show name" (should I ever show him) is MidLife Crisis. Stable name is: Beamer (i.e., he was my little red convertible, he's now a big red convertible). He trail rides, english and western, he does low level dressage, jumps, works cattle, and drives- he has both a 2 wheel buggie and a 4 wheel wagon he pulls. He's still "green" in that I could put a novice on him, but he just won't go anywhere. Not the fastest horse in the herd, but he's got a lot of stamina and when we trail ride, we go for hours on end. He's my baby...
Last time I measured him, he was just 4 and still rump high- so 15-3/4hh at rump, 15-1/4 at withers... and he's taller now- so I'm guessing he's between 15-1/2hh to 16hh at withers. I now need a fence or mounting block to get on him (mostly cause he's a barrel and I don't care HOW tight I cinch him, the saddle slips when I mount... and when we ride a tad... not that my weight could have anything to do with it, right?!)
Howz that Cab?! Got your horse mojo flowing???
giggle...

Awwww, poor little pooped on smiley....
Thy, ah a proud papa! and you should be.. sounds great!
I also was hooked but with the "fun cute" thing, then went for a test drive, and it was a year in between the test drive to the ordering. Yup a year.
I drove it, as Cab, not intending to like it. Well I was hooked but has a car with nothing wrong and only 3 years old! Well I couldn't come up with a reason to sell this and buy another. then one day I woke set up an appointment and told my hubby, we are going for another test drive, and "you do know I'm ordering today". Then the fun started!
You must be so excited! Enjoy and don't forget, we are a bunch who love pictures!!!
as for the rest of you greedy, toe loven, freaky high school interested people... keep your shoes on... i'm can't find the camera... so tomorrow will be the dam high school picture. ONE and i'm done...
you can laugh if you want but remember, I can go back to the pages of funky hair posting...
because in high school i didn't have that permed crazy thing until years later, and there was not enough time to snap a photo before it was cut off.

this thread is almost as addicting as my MINI!!! almost!
night folks.
Yeess, you have my horse mojo flowing, for sure!! I love his nickname "Beamer" my big paint was 16-3/4 and was pretty muscled, I found a Western saddle to fit him, I got a cutting saddle, it fit him so much better and gave me a little more support on the long trail rides. I will rumage around for a picture of him, I really love that horse. He is 19 y.o. now and still lives on my ex's farm. I stop there yearly to say hi. stupidest thing I ever did was to leave him there.

I've got some nice, comfy saddles. I've even done a wither tracing and purchased a dressage type saddle based on that- I LOVE my western saddle, it's really super comfy -
Can't wait to see a pix of your boy. You should still be out riding him. Our old man, Bud, is 29 (I think) and we only stopped riding him 3 or 4 years ago, and that was because he (supposedly) colicked (I think he also got into a poisonous plant as he acted like he was hallucinating and tried to jump a 6' fence) and then a few months later acted like he had EPM, but it wasn't EPM... He's now tracking fine, but he's a hard keeper, so we don't ride him so we can keep as much weight on him as possible. He's one HAPPY horse!
The second picture is when I first fell in love with small foreign cars. It too was a Cabrio. I think it was red. "I feel the need for speed!" That was my favorite color at the time. My next car was my 61 VW bug with the huge front to back sunroof. Then I purchased a 79 Triumph Spitfire, white with a black top. I guess you can see a pattern here, Kiki loves her convertibles!
The last picture is me, my nephew (future MINI owner) and my sister (current MINI owner) all enjoying a Christmas at the Happiest Place on Earth (well second only to a MINI dealership that is).
That's it. Now please take me off the bad list.

Thyo, honey, I don't see any photos?? And you are just alittle baby,,, 26 y.o.?? And already have your first MINI in your sights.... yeee haw!
Great shot,, I absolutely adore driving horses,, I grew up in the "passenger" role beside my father while "jogging" his race horses. Then started driving before my teens. It is the best feeling ever...
And in regards to a few extra pounds,,, well haven't we all?? sigh
kiki great photos,, I love that first one,,,you really have a knack with your wording, you should be in advertising!!
I am thinking that since you listed yourself first that you are the blonde with the longer hair? In that last shot?
I guess you are officially off the "bad" list now,,,, but of course you didn't show any crazy hair from the teen years...

Hmmm, I can't see it now either, but they block almost everything on the net here at work. I promise it was working last night when I posted it. Where do you guys host them to link to them?

... please don't make me do it.
