My new Mini

Like I said in Imageox's thread I got me a Mini. She's a right hand drive, automatic, 998cc 1977 Leyland Mini 1000. She's mustard yellow. She's not as purty as Fiona but I still love her. LOL. She ships from Tampa on Monday. Now....pics!! (these aren't mine. these are the owners)

Oh, and she has a sunroof and cd player too.

That's terrific! I'm pretty ignorant regarding Mini models, but there was a very similar mustard yellow in my old neighborhood that I always loved to see. Good luck and enjoy!

Your engine looks MUCH purdy-er then mine. I need a polished rocker cover like that. Maybe in the winter I'll take stuff apart and paint the block.

Congrats!!

Welcome to the madness!
I've heard the automatics can be quite fun! Looks like a nice, unmolested car. I'm sure you will have a blast with it, just be prepaired for all the attention you will recieve.

I almost bought the twin of yours a couple years ago. It was in Orlando rather than Tampa though. Very sharp

That's a wonderfully clean looking Mini. Congrats on the purchase.
I couldn't buy a "Minimatic" as the autos were known in Australia. My wife would be able to drive it.

One more classic for KC... Right on! Can't wait to take a close look. Hope you're at the August 4 run. What's the grille badge about?
