Those seats are expensive! Maybe I can get my dad to buy them for me since he broke mine.

Since he's broken it several times now, I think he should absolutely buy you a new one. I'd contact Heritage Garage, 7 Enterprises and GBCarParts for prices.

That or put in a set of VW/Miata/other small car seats. MUCH cheaper that way (especially Heritage seats, which are "restoration quality").

Yep... here's a set for $100:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-Ho...spagenameZWDVW

1 day left w/ no bids... I bet he'd take less if you let it expire then offer to buy them w/o him having to re-list them.

You need to fabricate rails to bolt them to, but it's not hard... Just be sure your Dad doesn't weld them right inside the car again.

I remember you saying a while back that he was trying to tack-weld something in there and set the seat on fire...

Ok, so I finally got a picture of my keys for you.

All of these keys go to the car. No house keys on there. (there's four there)

Here's a look on the inside of the round key that goes into....

...the round funky lookin thing in the middle of my toggle switches (it's an alarm type system. it disconnects the starter when it's turned on so the car won't start if someone tries to hot wire the car.)

BTW, in that bottom picture by the door, the black stuff isn't rust (even though that's what it looks like). I think it's old carpet adhesive. I've checked out the floors and they're rust free. Just a little rust under the back seat and the entire underbody of the car is undercoated with black stuff... The worst part of rust I've seen on the car is in the engine bay where the inner wing (fender) meets some support thing inside the bay.

Well, I put on some new stuff today. A KC mini rally sticker, hammer and coop sticker, Actual Size decal, John Cooper signature (looks amazing) and GB seat belt cover. I'm going to order the good stuff today. (water pump bypass hoses, oil filter, steering wheel drop bracket, seat extenders) Oh and I finally got my grill badges after two months of waiting. Here's some pics of my new grill badges and stickers

Here's the link for ImagoX's DIY steering wheel drop excercise.

I am having the same problem here in North Dakota we have a foot of snow and once it snows here it stays, so i am itching to go for a long ride. Problem is this state does not know how to plow.....

Send me your snow-bound Minis and I will see that they are properly cared for and "exercised" at regular intervals! You may pick them up in the Spring...Minimad (in Tampa, FL)

And... you could probably ship them UPS ground for $49 each way. But seriously, I wouldn't touch the snow with a classic. It's not the snow--it's the SALT! Presuming your minis are weekend toys, I'd wait until the salt's washed from the streets next spring--which is only a few months, except for N.D. Wow... winters are pretty long there, I hear.
