Hey all - It was my intention to attend this dinner next weekend but now I'm not sure I'll be able to make it..

If not, I was thinkin of a few ideas for 2007?

- maybe a daytrip to drive St Rt 555?
- I'd love to drive Rt 66 someday

Anyway, just wanted to put em out there in case I couldn't make it

 

If you guys decide to drive over to 555 give us folks at the Mid-Ohio Motoring club a holler. I know I'd drive over to meet with you.

 

Check out my buddy Chris' website for his Rt. 66 trip this year. It's mainly a roadster group, so you would fit right in!

We will definitely be doing that drive sometime this year with you Chuck. When is that River Run drive this year??? Hey, also, I really want to get to one of these Rally cross events that you are doing. That looks like a blast!

River Run is has always been the Saturday before Memorial Day. This year its May 26th. My friend Eric is the brains behind River Run, I'm just his wheel man. Hey, someone has to drive while he scribbles notes & stares at maps.

Last Sunday we did a preliminary run of the course. I got to drive his new STi. What a car, ugly as sin, but WOW what a personality. This year he's not going to the SE, but down SW. We cross on the ferry to Augusta KY & then swing back north. It's a very nice route with lots of fun roads. It should work out well for folks in Cinci. As things firm up I'll get you more info Greg. You may want to mention River Run at your planning meeting.

 

If you are coming down to my stomping grounds, we are definitely hooking up! Are you doing MINIs on the Dragon this year?

 

I don't think I'll be going down for the MINI love in. Maybe if a miracle happens I'll make it, but it's a slim chance at best. I plan on being down there in March, then June & October. Sorry I'll miss all the MINI's. If you haven't been down in the fall I highly recommend it.
