ECU Tuning in Chicagoland area

Hey guys I have a 2011 MCS Looking to get ECU tuned. Unfortunately, AP Tuning is or may never be ready for the N18 engine. Any local tuners ?

http://www.renntechmercedes.com/www/global/dealers

here are renntech dealers

they claim

Stock Performance for Cooper S Mark2 (w/ N18B16 Turbo):
  • 181 HP @ 5500 RPM / 192 TQ @ 1700-4500 RPM
Modified Performance:
  • 221 HP @ 5500 RPM / 232 TQ @ 1700-4500 RPM
Price: $945

and it turns on/off with the sport button!

Wonder why it still lists Fall-Line in Northbrook... they've moved to Buffalo Grove.

Just had this shop (Glen) do a bunch of work for me on the engine, their shop was listed in a Sprintex(?) Supercharger ad in MC2 magazine as recommended for midwest installations. Anyway, read numerous good reviews about them and when I was there last week, Glen told me he cold do a tune for my MINI. Worth a call!

Called the EuroShop and they use Software from a company called Autologic, numbers seem a bit low and they were not sure numbers were at the wheels. They quoted:

700.00
15-20hp addtional
Around the same for torque

trying to get a hold of one of The Renntech dealers.

I'm going to hold off until accessport comes out for the N18. Otherwise, it involves a hard tune, pulling the ECU and voiding your warranty.

that's my only issue, there has been a lot of speculation on whether or not there will be a AP for the N18 engine. Alta has no ETA and other threads have mentioned asking Cobb itself about it with answers ranging to "No ETA" or "No Plans at this time". i'm still under warranty myself but would really like the ecu tune.

I just spoke to the proprietor of Willow Automotive here in Chicago, and he assured me they can tune any kind of aftermarket piggyback, standalone, or OEM ECU. Apparently they specialize in BMWs as well.

I'm going to VS Motorsports to get a Evolve tune, I have an appointment on Friday and I will write up a review once I have it all done

Overview:
Additional 35-40 BHP and 50-60 lb.ft torque.
Fully developed on dyno and road
Top speed limiter removal
Sharper throttle response and drivability
Flash from home convenience
Return to stock anytime

just bumping an old thread, looking to get my r53 tuned as i'll be getting a smaller pulley and possibly injectors. I'd love a tune from RMW but I know that wont happen unless we get a group together and have Jan fly out here.
