New MCS tips, please weigh in

Hi

We are ordering our Mini in the next couple days and are hoping for tips or suggestions about what to get or not get.

The Plan:

British racing Green with white roof
Cold Weather
Sport
Rain Sensor and Auto Headlamps
Automatic
Tuscan Beige Leather
Comfort Access
White Bonnet Stripes
Mud flaps
Interior Surface Piano Black

On the fence with regards to:

Multi function Leather sport wheel
Sun Roof

Lake Bluff will discount $250 if we pay cash.

I have an 02 Cooper with very few options (sunroof, dsc, ss+), For me the sunroof was a must have. and I am still glad I got it.

Heated seats is the only other option I didn't get, but now wish I did.

Sounds great, I do love my multi function wheel.

Thanks for the comments, I was reading about some debacle with the multi function wheel, but I assume that it was straightened out. If you don't get the multi function wheel, is cruise not available? The warden (primary driver) is not big on the sun roof.

Correct, MFSW is necessary for cruise control. I love the sunroof, and the savings in the premium package could be your argument for the warden!

The color combo including the seats sounds terrific! Good luck!

I love all the options (see signature or gallery) except the Auto trans (would you buy a Ferrari with an auto? nevermind, I don't really see the correlation either). Sun roof is a must...if it's too bright in the MINI when you don't want it to be, you can get a solid white roof graphic over the glass (which looks like you don't have a sunroof), but you can still open the top on beautiful days.

The Auto Trans is for the warden. If it were up to me it would be manual. We sold her 03 BMW X5 and plan on ordering this week. I'm a sunroof guy so I'll try to work the premium package.
