In the quest of making the PUB even bigger and better I am officially announcing the the performance of JUMPING JACK FLASH ROLLING STONES TRIBUTE BAND from Pittsburgh Pa.

JJF will be playing from 4:00 -7:00 PM. The LIVERPOOL LADS BEATLES TRIBUTE BAND will be performing 12:00 -3:00 PM.

Can't get much more "British" than this peeps. Mark your calenders and spread the word for this FREE Mini cruise in.

I've seen their set list and it's amazing. They do songs that the Stones never even performed. Really cool stuff like "19th Nervous Breakdown", "Mother's Little Helper", "Monkey Man", "Can't You Hear Me Knockin'", "The Last Time" and of course all the radio staples.

Ooh, "Mother's Little Helper" would be nice, too. I love the Stones, man, so this is exciting.

Still waiting for the title to transfer on Tiny Blue Thing 2, but you know as soon as it's in my position there will be a thread with plenty of pics. For now, just imagine the old one, but with a sunroof.

Awe!! Poor Tiny Blue Thing! I saw your post about the accident. :( Glad you're ok.

Have you got a replacement yet? Can these cars really be replaced? I feel like mine is my child.

 

I had a nice thing type up on Facebook about my car being my soul mate. It was funny, because until the last sentence everyone thought I was talking about my fiance. I was, I was just trying to be funny. :(

I found a really awesome guy who is selling me his '03 Electric Blue and Black Cooper S, so it looks just like my old one. Except better.

All the extra special awesomeness will be included in the thread I make when I finally get the darn thing. Everyone pray that the title shows up today so I can do stuff about it tomorrow!!!

Hey all - I just ordered my first Mini and am (not very patiently) waiting for delivery in early May. This forum is a really great entry into the Mini goings-on in my NE Ohio 'hood. The Pub event looks great - can't wait!

 

How early in May? In time for the BRM meeting on the 14th?

 

I'm keepin my fingers crossed it will be here. Can ya give me some more info on the meeting or should I keep my eyes peeled on this forum?

 

is held the second saturday of each month at the Panera bread at wilson Mills Rd in Mayfield Hts at 9ish AM.

After we get sick of blabbing we go for a drive (taking turns on who plots the route) and usually wind up somewhere for lunch.

We don't drive during the winter months because many of us garage our cars, however, April is likely to change that.

And if you don't have your Mini yet, come anyway!!

Thanks for the April invite. I've got something on the books for April but will make sure to carve out some extra drive time on May 14th. Sounds like fun. Looking forward to some nice spring driving. This cold weather is killing me !
