still thinking about stripes.. chrome to match my recently purchased chrome mirror caps?
Of course we know its never ending, but nothing too good for my Toro.. that is, if I can afford it!

About Morristown being cheaper than our local dealer.. shipping is a consideration, well I saved more than 13.99 on the bumper protector alone, plus no sales tax.. a win win situation I think. Just don't tell anyone at Roadshow, they might spit in my car next time i'm there, lol

Awesome set of light mods Tess. Now that I have the new Nic, I'm starting back at square 1! I have to order a new Actual Size sticker even. At least I remembered to take off the UJ valve stems I won at the xmas party.

Oh by the way, we saw NFR Cabrio today. Gorgeous car, you should get it Mark even took a pic of it with his phone. I'll get him to upload it for ya. I'm looking forward to seeing the Cabrios when they update them next year.

Yes, I saw it too at Roadshow loved it.. but doubt I'd want the payment. Do you recall how much it was.. I didn't bother to look since I just assume I shouldn't be trading in already.. guess I could be wrong.

It was listed for $25k and a small bit of change. I know what you mean on the trepidation of trading though...I wouldn't have been willing to trade if it hadn't been for that 4.9% interest as opposed to my 7.5% interest previously. When figured in (and I won't even say how much Nic I depreciated when I drove off the lot! lol), I'm only spending a few k over what I paid for Nic I, and it would've been about that much anyway to get him in an S edition. They did tell me if I had traded last month instead of this month, I would've gotten a better trade value because my car wouldn't have been considered a 'year' old - even though he was only actually 2 months old anyway. The end of a model year is, apparently, always the best time to trade.

interesting how you talk about Nic. Nic has moved from one car to another? To me, my Toro is Toro.. if I get a new one.. probably have a new name.

Mine was 22k plus a extended maintenance agreement, so the cabrio would be about 3k more plus the depreciation.. doubt I could trade Toro in for that one and not hike the payment, even with 4.9. But when I go back I can always ask Carl to do the numbers and see what happens.

I ordered mudflaps and I think you mentioned that mark put yours on with no problem. Are there prexisting slots or holes for putting them on? Is it something I could do myself? I ordered some yesterday, front and back.

I was thinking about taking a driving up to Mt Nebo today, but now I'm thinking about a nap, not sure which, lol.

If I head that way and you guys are free, we could drive up together.. you live in Dardenelle right?

Yeah, we live in Dardanelle and were actually thinking about making a drive to Nebo as well to do another photo shoot with the new Nic (and yeah, I was willing to transfer the name, esp because we already bought a custom Euro plate! lol). Give me a call if you decide to go, 479-477-0434.

Oh, as for the mud flaps, you can put them on yourself. There aren't any existing holes, so you do have to do a bit of slight modification to the carpeting in the wheel well. It'll describe it completely in the installation instructions. Mark put the mud flaps on both Deimos and Nic I with no problems, and he's going to put them on Nic II next weekend. He said he didn't have any problems with them, especially if you only have 15 or 16" wheels. Good luck!

There are pros and cons to a cabrio. For me, more pros than cons. I've never had a cabrio and LOVE it!!!! Sometimes I even drive my family crazy with it! muuuhaaa!!!

I'm looking forward to seeing what the '09 Cabrios will look like. Nothing at all against the first gens of course, I'm just curious what the exterior aesthetic differences will be.
