The Arkansas Mini Owner's Klub (AMOK) is sponsoring a drive on Saturday, Jan. 19th at 1:30 pm. We will meet at Java Roasting Co. on Chenal Parkway in west Little Rock. It is across the street from Bale Chevrolet/Honda. The drive is 1 1/2 hours long with lots of twisties. We will head west from the coffee shop to the wild environs of west Pulaski and Saline counties. After the drive we will have coffee and car talk at Java. Club car magnets will be available for $15.00 for two. So everybody come on out. We see lots of you Minis out there on the streets. We want to meet you!

 

Mark and I will be bringing Deimos and Nic II. Can't wait to see everyone!

 

Great! Can't wait to meet the new Nic. Jim and I just got back from driving the route. We were both doing some sliding around some curves. It's a fun drive. Looking forward to seeing ya'll this Saturday.

Sounds like a great ride. Believe it or not, I have to work on Sat., so I won't be able to make it. Sounds like a great ride and I really will miss going. I got new tires and haven't been able to give them a real workout, sounds like the drive would do it. Damn!

 

Ah, that sucks Jim. And here I was hoping to see how the new Nic fares against your gray beast I guess we'll just have to go motoring again down there sometime.

I just found out there's a person in a town very near to where Mark and I teach who has a yellow/black MINI. I don't know anything about who has it other than it's a younger female. I told one of my students, who said he got to go motoring with her this past weekend, to tell her to get in touch with me about AMOK.

 

I've seen an older gentleman with a Gen 1 yellow mini at Luigis a few times. If I see him again, I'll give him the url for amok

If the stars will align properly Hubby and I will bring Minerva in to Little Rock and on with you all. So far things look good and possible- even probable!

I've been pretty busy trying to get the CondoMINIum built- it is now roofed and in the dry just lacking two windows! Looks like insulation will go in late this week to early next week, then sheet rock on the inside, and on the outside, they are picking up the siding tomorrow, and the brickmason is being called by the contractor. Minerva will have a pretty house soon!
