Ok folks...so this year I've decided that instead of detailing cars from 8AM to 4AM like last year---I'll be holding 30 min & 1 hour class sessions on detailing your MINI. Including in each session is a starter kit consisting of clay, lube, mf towels, and some BW. We'll cover all aspects of paint care--as well as demoing various new products I have to make the job easier and more fun.

Classes will be held from 9AM until 2AM. Classes after 6PM will need to be prearranged so that way I'm not sitting out there waiting for you to show up. There isn't an official signup list, so just reply here if you're interested. Otherwise, I'll just go play like everyone else, lol.

I'm trying to make scheduling flexible so that you can do all events you want, and still come learn. I would ask that you pre clean/wash your MINI before the class, so we don't waste valuable time cleaning it off before learning.

I've got a portable PA so you can hear me, and I'll be bringing my portable ice maker and hot water pot so I can fix cold drinks during the day and hot drinks at night.

Cool, I forgot to post that there is a small fee involved though but I would hope it's entirely worth it.

$50 for 30 minute class
$75 for 1 hour class

Both have the same starter kit consisting of 1/3rd bar of Meguiar's Professional Blue Clay (enough to do the MINI several times), 8 ounce bottle of Last Touch Clay Lube, Microfiber towels, and enough Black Wow to do your MINI a couple of times, lol.

The classes are personalized one and one and will be on your car or a current demo car I'm working on if yours isn't available.

Will be fast paced--cover all processes using Prima-though will translate to other products like Zaino, Meguiar's etc.. You'll get to work with the PC, UDM, or G110--I have all 3 now.

After claying, we will do Amigo to make the paint look its best, then finish with Hydro. Won't have time to do a full Swirl polish, but can definitely demo it and do a portion to show you. Can also address specific problems and issues.

Cool. The times will be pretty much first come first served. I want to do them on the hour each hour if possible, and I'll be flexible around the different runs and events.

Richard,

The g/f and I both have MINIs, but we are only taking her "new" R53. Is it cool if we do a 2 person 1 hour class? We sorta share a brain, so it would almost like teaching 1 person We are ok to both pay the $75 each, so you'd make a lil' extra gambling cash

See ya in Vegas

Ooo!! I'll look you up when I'm there. I decided to wait on the wash/wax/detail until I get down there - the car would be trashed after the drive down, anyway, and I plan to have lots of free time down there - so after I get down there and get the car washed, one of the classes and some product swag would be just the ticket.

Like I need his help for that!
Nah, before I had it painted, the roof looked ok, so I didn't get it repainted black. Now that the body looks good, the roof paint looks like crap, Richard is going to help me out.

Well, I wouldn't know if he had that particular plan for pre-vinyl prep and was keeping you in the dark about it.

Much better about the roof. Not the "now it looks like crap" part, of course.

Well, it actually looks pretty much the same as it did before. Before the paintjob, the roof had the best paint on the car. Now it's the worst and needs help.
