Some Recent OctaneGuy Details...

I've been super busy and haven't had time to post any writeups...also haven't been fully documenting cars like I normally do, so not a lot of pix to show...

2006 BRG/White MCS
The day was overcast and the swirls weren't readily apparent--but the finish was a little hazy and the paint was rough to the touch.

Process and Products:
Clayed with Meguiar's Blue Clay,
Polished with Prima Swirl with orange pad
Prima Swirl with white pad
Prima Amigo

Waxed with Prima Epic.
BW on trim.

Tools: Rotary buffer and Random Orbital

303 on trim looks dull compared to Black Wow

Paint surface after washing with Dawn a few times

8 hours later, all done!

Wow Epic is some nice stuff.

Amazing how much faster the details are now with you using Swirl and the Prima line on a consistent basis.

I mean that 2006 BRG/White MCS took 8 hours.

Had you used M83, M80 it would have been much longer.

NICE WORK!!!!!

Richard, thanks SO MUCH for your INCREDIBLE work. Macushla's MINI looks amazing. She couldn't be any happier with the results, same with me. the softness of the paint is what really blows me away. It is like rubbing my hand on a piece of brand new glass. Very impressive.

I think it was all worth it just for this shot:

You're welcome! I always enjoy working on MINI's, plus I get to drool over people's mods/features--like the English Leather. I was going to do Leatherique on it to make it even softer--but really needed a full day for that.

Glad you guys are happy! Now that reminds me--I completely forgot to retrieve my car cover--think I better go see if it's still there...lol.

Do you offer a "sweat equity" discount? (Or do you charge extra to allow the owner to get in the way?!)

Didn't you tell him not to wear jeans while detailing!
