AMVIV2 registrations open!

The more people pre-register, the better estimate we will have of attendee numbers, and the better we can make the event.
Go NOW to www.AMVIV.com and sign up today!

We're not going to try to stop you from coming, and we're not going to try to stop you from going on drives.
The registration fee covers the route book, the door prize raffle and some other stuff/goodies. If you have a major objection to paying $15 to help cover the time and money that people have put into the event, don't pay it. We don't want any bad feelings over it.
That said, we (the Sin City MINI Club) had to put up a fairly significant deposit for the hotel, and we're having color printed and bound route books made. A percentage of profits (if any) from the event will go to charity, and any other profits will be used for the staging of the 2006 event. The hope is to make the event self-sustaining.
Last year, Dominic and Earl (and some others) put up a fair amount of their own money to make the event a success. I believe that Earl wound up losing money on the shirts. I know Dominic spent more money than he ever received back. It was a great event, but we came to the conclusion that with a small fee, the event could be bigger and better than ever.
And really, if you're paying a minimum of $60 a night for 3 nights, plus gas, food and everything else you're going to spend in Vegas, is $15 really THAT excessive?

I think $15 is more that reasonable. Thanks for all the hard work.

$15 is a great deal, I know that Earl and Dominic put in alot of time forl alst years event and got little if nothing in return. A small fee to keep an event like this going is worth it. Thanks Earl and Dominic and everyone else that worked on the 04 event, and thanks Sin City Mini Club for continuing a great tradition.

With that said I can hardly wait another 34 days

There's always whiners. There always will be. But I assure you that anyone who has been remotely involved in doing something like this understands what it takes (both time and money). My hat's off to the Sin City guys. A great event and a very reasonable (if not cheap) registration fee. I'm singned up, paid and ready to party!!

Thanks SinCitiyMini!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's very possible many people don't understand what goes into an event like this and simply need to be educated on what their money is going towards. If they understood I think it would be hard to argue with $15.
