I am new to the MINI, but do know I want to upgrade the stereo. I did not get the HK system, and it is the one option I am kicking myself for not getting!
I know the componets that you are selling are top notch as far as brand goes.
What of this would I need as a package to add to the stock system. Just amp, sub woofer, and sub control?
There is no box included for the sub is there? I would imagine that is something I would have to have custom made?
From car stereo experience in the past the stock speakers should be good enough for now, do you think?
Let me know what the price would be for a package. I am very interested.

the four Quart speakers and four channel amp would be a good start. There is no subwoofer for sale, only a sub amp. if you wanted to add a small sub, you could run both sets of Quarts, the JL 6ch amp and a small 8 inch enclosure and that would put the HK system to shame.

Will the Quart speakers mount right up to the stock locations? I might go for them if the price was REALLY right. :-)

 

they are both 6.5 - the front location is fine, but the rear needs adaptors made since it's a 6x9 cutout.
