Check your dealer, Classic Mini.... found mine on eBay.

 

 

I bought a set of those from Classic MINI. I called them to order a set of replacement stock tips and they asked me if I wanted the stock tips or the ones you have pictured above. I can't remember the exact description, just something like 'sport tips', but they're MINI OEM, so any dealer can get them. I think the list price was around $100 and Classic MINI charged around $80. Mine didn't come with instructions, and they included a small unfinished metal bracket that fit under the tips with holes that lined up with the holes in the chrome tips that held the recessed mounting bolt. At first I thought it was some type of mounting bracket but it seemed it's only function was to align both tips. Of course, I might be wrong since I didn't get directions...

That looks like the tip my wife ordered when built on her nonS 06. Of course she only needed one. The dealer installed and the total was $30.

 

Still looking for some used ones, anybody got some?

As you can see you can get them at a pretty reasonable price from Morristown MINI or another dealer.

 

So would two of those work? I have always seen them sold in a pair. What's the difference, just one instead of two?

 

I believe that the one linked to is a Cooper sport tip. The ones you want are made for the S.

Not sure what the difference is (if any) though.
