yah, the steel and aluminum that are in a Mini Cooper S are worth maybe $6500, so that's what our cars are worth?

I like the craftsmanship on the jackstand toppers - better than what I did, for sure, but I've licked this problem as well.

Thanks DixonL2. For a variety of reasons some folks would rather buy stuff already made. And so to them the value is in the finished product, not the costs that go into the finished product as you clearly stated.

Anyways, they're sold. If anyone else is intersted, I can make others.

I'll have to get one of those "free" 2x4's from H/D.....
