Where are you coming from?
Where are you coming from?
I've always wondered where everyone comes from that attends MOTD.
The majority I assume are from the neighboring states, but I have seen license plates from as far as Canada.
Where are you coming from and how long does it take you to get there?
If you're coming to this years MOTD I would really be interested in your
driving adventure and your plans or routes.
See you there...

.By the time you got to the Dragon I don't think you would want to see another curve, bend or turn ever again.
In any case have a Trooperless and safe trip
I'm coming from central Michigan which is about a 9 hour drive but this year I am driving to my parents house in Ocala FL first for my Dad's 84th birthday April 27. The Brother and Sisters will all be there to surprise him. Figured what's another 1200 miles for my family.
State College, PA - We plan to drive down Tuesday night and stay in Knoxville, drive in early Wednesday to Fontana Village.

Leaving from the Tampa area, stopping off at Microcar museum on the way up, meeting some peeps in Helen Georgia for dinner, drinks and a goods night rest and then up to Fontana for Tuesday pre-party!!!

For a change of pace and scenery you could always take the Blue Ridge Parkway down but I think from Va to NC would be something like 3180 turns in 11 days

Most likely Otto's, as I don't think I'll be heading Upstate before MOTD.
We've got dogs that we have to drop off at 9am Tuesday at the resort (no joke, that's the title of the place) so making to P-burgh for an early departure would be tough.
Meeting with you guys in Erwin would work though.....
