First timer, fFlying into Norfolk, VA from San Diego--then driving over to Fontana a couple of days later.

 

First MOTD plus first mini event for us. Fiance and I are driving both of our 08 MCSs up from Birmingham, AL. My brother is coming along too in his 350Z. So we'll have our own little caravan. Probably leave Thursday evening, stay overnight past chattanooga and get there in time for devils triangle run on Friday and stay til Sunday. We are staying at Nantahala Village, just it booked last night.

 

HAHA.. after seeing so many mini, he'll want to trade that 350z in for one

 

This is my first MOTD. I'm coming up from Columbus, GA. in my 2007 Mini. I want to send a call out for any of my Westcentral, GA. Mini folk to "COME ON"! Help make the 2008 MOTD something to brag about.

 

First timer + co-driver coming from Indy leaving Friday afternoon staying till Sunday...

 

1st MOTD and 1st Mini event for husband and I. We are so excited. Driving in from "The Ham".
I can't wait to see the mods. I am so ready to start tinkering with "Inni Mini".

This will be my second MOTD.
Driving from Port Charlotte, FL.

 

We are coming from LA (Lower Alabama - Mobile) leaving Wednesday after work with a stop over in Birmingham for the night and on the EVENT Thursday. We hope to hook up with some of the Texas - Louisiana - Northern Alabama Minis Thursday morning along the way.

 

I'm coming from Charlotte, NC., so not so far away. A good 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive. This will be my third Dragon and I'm very much looking forward to it.
For those of you who have never been, you won't soon forget the experience!

 

I will have a small prize for the MINI with its driver traveling the furthest distance to get to MOTD this year.
You must present your MINI with matching license plate, registration and drivers license info to prove your distance away from MOTD.
Since it may be difficult to conduct this over the course of MOTD, I only ask that you indicate your distance on this
thread and then see me at MOTD to claim your prize after presenting your proof.
The furthest MINI/Driver will be notified via PM as to where you can claim your prize.

Thats not fair... I'm bring my companies MINI from LA CA, It's registered to my company in LA. I cant prove its mine. It belongs to every one at work. My MINI is staying in LA. :(

As for the registration and license proof, I just need to see where the MINI is registered (city, state).
Not so much that its actually yours, so steal one if you need to but get yourself out here.

Just kidding on the stealing part.. I don't want anyone saying that I suggested they steal a MINI to come to the Dragon with.
Although if it would help the registration numbers.. Nah! Wouldn't be worth it.

 

YA.. my MINI cant make it... It needs a lot of work to drive cross country. i duno what i would do if it broke on the way to Dragon or at Dragon. Its going to hurt not having him with me, but at least i wont be mini-less!

YAY!! its getting closer!!!

 

The queenbee & I will be drivin' "pre shrunk" down from mtn. city tn. It's about 3-4 hrs to the dragon from our home & the mini is gettin' a new rear swaybar while we're there.

I could be a challenger...also from the LA area...but we've made a short (ahem...since Feb) stop over in the DC area. So, although plates and registration will show SoCal, I guess I need to claim NoVA as my actual departure point.

But if you belive home is where the heart is...then I'm still a true SoCal gal

We're coming from Kenosha, Wisconsin. We just got our Mini last summer, too late for MOTD 2007 so we took a drive down for the Fall Dragon Run and loved the area but didn't see many Minis. This will be our second MOTD and we're looking forward to seeing LOTS of Minis this time.

Sidewalk . . . there are so many MINIs at this event you can actually lose your own in the parking lot. Nice part is you can see every stripe, mod, wheels, and whatever that is available for the MINI.
