I don't think it was received well in the end. That's not a fact mind you, just what I heard.

Me too! I'm always up for ice cream!!!

I've volunteered to take some kids on the evening of the Dragon Brew Swap, maybe we could do the ice cream run then so the kids would have something to do. Just a thought!

Hey....we went to Soda Pops last year cruising around. Cute place....not much room though for a large group. Be fun though. I'll keep a look out to see if it firms up......like when, who, etc.

I'm so glad I'm not the only ice cream junkie. :-) Normally beer is a good thing but ice cream trumps it this time. Does anyone know who did the social last year?

I talked to the owner about a group of MINI folk coming during the 07 MOTD and he was all for it. He just asked for advance notice so he can make sure to have enough help when we get there. There's plenty of parking nearby and it's a quaint area to walk around, so the small size of the shop shouldn't be a problem.

We are towing our MINI down behind our Suburban because we're bringing our two kids along (5 and 15), and there just isn't enough room in the MINI for all of us and all our crap. Anyway, I'd be more than happy to cram any stray kids into the Suburban for an ice cream run!

A set date/time will definatly help people decide if they are going to go or not.

Let's call it Saturday with a 1:30PM departure from Fontana. I'll bring maps and will contact Mark to see about adding it to the event planner.

Started a sign-up list above.

I'm not sure I will be able to attend the ice cream event, but I want to put in a plug for it.

Bryson City is a charming little town, and I'm sure they'll get a kick out of all the MINIs. You all should try the trainride that leaves from Bryson City, sometime. It's a great deal of fun.

Oh, so THAT is you I am going to that lighting clinic, will this be going on during the clinic? I would like to do both.

The lighting clinic had better not be happening at the same time as the ice cream run. If that's the case, it's going to be difficult for Matt to have his clinic without the car! By the way, the lighting clinic is now on the event planner for 4:30 on Saturday.
