Ice Cream Social???

Holy cow gang...a guy goes offline for a week and we get 25 more people. We're now up to 61 people and 31 cars. I've updated the master list of attendees, so if I missed you, please let me know.
T-Shirts would be cool, but not sure I could pull that together by the Dragon. If anyone else wants to take a whack at it, that would be way cool.
I'll work on getting some more details (departure location, parking, and what-not) ironed out this week.

Hey Muidaq....I have sent PMs to Edge and Twister to see if they have points of contact for shirts since they have really cool ones for Monte Carlo and the Movie night. I'll pass on the info if they can help. We need to know price points, time frames, etc. It would be cool....I have design ideas but, alas, no artistic talent. You've done a great job organizing this....thanks.

Muidaq.....Craig has come up with a really cool design.......how can I get it to you or on the thread so everyone can see it and decide if they want one? Prices are reasonable too. We need to get final word to him ASAP to get them in time. You're all gonna LOVE them!!!!!!!! The guy is GOOD. He did all the other shirts....Monte Carlo, Cigar Tasting, Movie, etc.

Couple pieces of news today. I talked to the owner of Soda Pops today and he's excited to have us roll through...as many as we can bring.
Also, in record pace, IsAMini has arranged for t-shirts for the Ice Cream run. Sign up is in over on this thread.

I am glad you still have his card. He was very excited about this idea last year...Glad you remembered to make it happen.

If I may make a suggestion as to where the Ice Cream Run folks could meet up to start the run.
Just down the road from the entrance to the Village is the building where one used to check in to the Fontana. It has a sizable lot and driveway, if I remember correctly.
If this is agreed upon by the ICR co-ordinators, then we ought to get permission from Fontana to use the space. We may have sold the place out, but we're still guests and don't own the place..yet.
The only other spot I could think of that could handle such a crowd is Ingle's supermarket parking lot in Robbinsville.
Just a suggestion from a DV (Dragon Veteran).

I can't picture the area around the old check-in building specifically, but I thought it was big enough...maybe not for 50 cars, tho'.
You're right..the dam is the only other place, short of Ingall's parking lot. If there's going to be a photo shoot, then we're kinda screwed. I'll keep my thinking cap on tho'...

The Dam would be the best place to meet. Although Ingles has a big lot it would not be right to take up that many places and possible displace some of their regular customers. 50 or so cars would take up quit a pit of their lot. It could also be a busy time for Ingles.
Just my opinion.
