That is an AWSOME short!

NOTE FROM THE SCRIBE:
I will be posting a document (sometime when I don't have to work this week...it may take a while....) with all the beer...

(I THINK I GOT IT ALL!!!!) If You don't see what you brought, please let me know and I will add it....Short of going through all the trash and looking at each bottle, I think I got most of it down and I don't mean drinking!

Matt,
I posted a few pics of the brew swap in the pics, pics, pics thread. No credit needed.

Cheers,

Thanks for a terrific (burp) time!

This was my first MOTD and I really wasn't sure what to expect, but this was a great time! Thanks so much to the organizer! I really enjoyed meeting so many new friends and trading beers. I brought a case of Japanese and Chinese beer (having looked at the list that people planned to bring I thought they would be a little different.) They were not as popular as I'd hoped though but I do hope people I traded enjoy them (They go well with Sushi!)

Being from Pittsburgh I wanted to add some regional flavor so I also brought a sampler case of Lancaster Brewing Co. with 4 styles. I was interested to see how much people liked the Milk Stout. That was so popular that next year that is all I'll bring. I'm already looking forward to seeing you all then.

We had a coupla cases of Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy, and it was GONE!!! Seems everyone thought it was great and told friends, because people were coming looking for "that lemon beer" and we had to tell em sorry!!! Next year, we'll take more and glad you all enjoyed it!

Thanks for the kickass Brew Swap and Beerlympics. I had an awesome time, probably the best of the weekend (other than riding the Dragon of course). I couldn't believe I was the fastest chugger... I would've thought there was some seasoned drinking vets in the games. Maybe next year.

Cheers!

We had a great time again! I heard that I won something but I was outside helping folks load beer and missed the drawings (like usual). Regardless, the true prize of the weekend was the fun and all the great beer. I had a Darkside Vanilla Porter last night that was awesome!
The Milk Stouts were great, I got 2 or 3 different types and am looking forward to them.
Thanks MindTheGap, from MYNDGAP

Dadblammmit!! I saw that Oak Barrel Stout and talked to someone sitting at that table but she said it wasn't her beer. I almost just took one and left a Coffee Oatmeal Stout in trade but thought that was a bit presumptuous and decided against it.
Next year.......
Give Freddie a hug from me!

It was a great time, and I'd like to thank everyone involved. Next year, I'd like to participate in the beerlympics - I must have missed the announcement this year.

I drank an Amarillo Slim's last night, and whoa! That beer has a kick! Thanks to whomever brought it.

I would suggest you bookmark www.dragonbrewswap.com as Beerlympics registration will open up this Fall so that the teams have time to come together, make plans and practice for next year.

Ok I definitely foresee a problem with too many teams wanting to play. So give me some advice. Do we put all the wanna be teams names into a hat and draw six or do we make the Beerlympics that much larger and eliminate teams as the games move on?
