An amazing calm

With almost everyone en route or already there playing, this forum has become quite amazingly calm and silent. In about 4.5 hours I'll be on the way too and then it should be really quiet in terms of smartass comments.
:-)

Well, I can't leave for another 22 hours (harumph). Not that all the active posts "we're having the best time right now" make for "enjoyable" reading.

Have fun, see you when I'm the last to arrive.

I'll be heading your way louispup as I head out from Birmingham tomorrow around Noon. Guess you'll beat me there though. . . .

It is calm in here, but we had better be careful with what we say in here about those already there, as it seems that more and more people are connecting wirelessly from the Dragon!

No offense intended. This will be my first motd so I'm just happy to take part.

Don't worry, I'll hold down the fort and quadruple my amount of smartass coments to make up for it. Moderators, are you ready for this?

Just kidding. Well, sort of.

There you are, and quick response too.

Are you guys stuck watching this place while everyone else gets to go have fun?

Stuck? Others held down the fort while some of us went to AMVIV. Now we watch over things while they drive the dragon.

Plus, I made it up to beautiful Northern California last weekend with blacknblue and madhatter to attend the Group Drive put on my MINIUSA's new ad agency BSSP

Do I hear crickets chirping around here?

Yep, I hear crickets. For those of us not able to attend, it's going to be a loooooooooooooooooong weekend.

So far daily traffic is only down 5% over this time last week.

Worst case (ever single person at the dragon is a regularly visiting member of NAM and doesn't visit NAM during the dragon) we'd see a total reduction in site activity of roughly 20%. The dragon is a big event, no getting around that, but keep in mind there are 150,000 MINI owners and 20,000+ NAM members.

Hardly crickets.

Yep! Knowing there are hundreds of MINIs gathered together on the other side of the country and I couldn't go is kinda depressing.

I meant an amazing calm in the MOTD thread, not on NAM alltogether. But it seems we still can chime in even from the Dragon.

But I better run now to get my registration package and get a few Dragon runs in.
