Where are you playing hooky from??

I know I asked off from work 11 months ago to go to the Dragon. And I'm just curious what kind of job/school everyone else is cutting out on to attend MOTD06?? I am an independent contractor CRNA (nurse anesthetist). And no, I am not bringing any samples!!

Have been laid off over the winter and just restarted at work 2 weeks ago. I am only going to be working 3 days, and am taking all 3 of those days off for the dragon. Luckily my school is only m-w, so no need to reschedule there.

Oh yah, nursery (trees and stuff) delivery driver, at least until i can find something pertaining to my school.

I'm quitting my job with the Louisiana Department of Transportation as a Real Estate Specialist on May 2nd.

Ok, ok, so the timing happens to be coincidental. I'll be moving to Phoenix, AZ on May 10th and starting my new position with GE Commercial Finance on May 15th...again as a Real Estate Specialist.

I won't be marching across a stage wearing a dress and a silly hat just to receive my diploma for my master's degree.

There are some things in life that are just too important not to miss, and the Dragon beats a graduation ceremony in my book!

My brother and I own/run a in-ground swimming pool construction company in Florida. I do the sales, and get to make my own hours and drive a Mini as my company car. Life is SWEEEETTTT !!!

I had to put in my bid for Fed Ex Fiscal Year 2007-2007 vacations about a month ago.

Got my week out of the Indy Hub for the 5th annual MOTD scheduled.

Sorry we can't make it this year.

speaking of which.. anyone in the services going to MoTD? (besides hotrod, we already established that one)..

Anyways, if there are, take a moment and shake their hand and thank them for what they do for us.... it's men and women like them that keep our country free to do things like this..

Dr. Dave...
can you tell me what the heck is the deal with the new Fed laws regarding pseudophed?.. I went the other day to CVS and bought Theraflu, right?.. cause I have walking pneumonia and I'm trying everything in the world to get over it before I go down next week.. they ask me for my license, write down my address, etc.. they had a whole freakin notebook of people's info who bought pseudophed containing OTC's...

now, this is the same place that I always have my fiance pick up my prescription.. yeah, it's Fioricet w/ cod (for my migraines) and it's a Class III I believe, they don't ask for her ID or nothin'... DEA laws are all screwy, man...

(BTW.. I know why the new law.. people making meth with pseudophed... it's just out of control, that's all) actually, now that I think of it, I had her pick up my Adderall once too (uh-ohh... that's a Class II..and it's METH!!.. they didn't say a word..but try buying some OTC cough medicine..sheesh!..LOL!)

My ex-wife was a pharmacist. I got to hear it all..LOL!

Dunno, I went into Target to get sinus headache stuff and had to get it from behind the counter, from the pharm. himself. CRAZY. What is this world coming to? But, I can get whatever Rx I want, since I work with a bunch of Docs here at the hospital, all I have to say is I am having trouble sleeping, whatever, and boom, ambien, or whatever you want. The Pharm at the Safeway I get my meds from laughs because I never have the same doc writing Rxs for me...LOL I guess it pays to work in the hosp some times.

I always put in for the time off as soon as our new calanders come out. (end of Dec.) All the guys are cussing me. I reminded them tonight that I only have three more night shifts (6p to 6a) to work. While I am at the dragon they will switch back to day shift!! So when I come back I will be on days!! No hookie for me

Fioricet WITH codeine???? Because, you know, the butalbutal just isn't enough to lay yer butt up for a fortnight???

I have the coolest job on the planet: I help manage the collections of a small art museum; so when you go to a museum and see, on average, about 2% of the "stuff" that museum actually has, I'm the evil genius hanging out with the rest of it... mua ha hahahahahahahahahahaha...

I pretty much come and go as I please, so I think I put in for vacation a week or 2 ago
